One thing I really hope so is there are lots of races in the game.
FH1 had so few races compared to FM4, and that made some of us finish the game in a really short time.
So, I am hoping this one has lots of tournaments , probably optionals, like FM4 (I haven’t played FM5, but I suppose it has a large number of races too).
“We have far more content than we’ve ever had before,” says Fulton. “More than 700 events across the world, contributing to, I think a conservative 100 percent completion time of well over 100 hours. We have absolutely packed this game with racing, with non-racing, with discovery, and the ability to just point your car in any direction and just explore. So that’s freedom.”
I guess the real question is: how varied will these ‘700 events’ be? Though quantity is great, ensuring it isn’t a chore to tick a box for each and every race would be much appreciated.
700 ain’t that much… It’s a big number, for some people…
They say there is 3 times as much road as in FH1. The map on FH1 could be crossed, diagonally, in roughly 10 minutes in a souped up car. Now, 3 times as many road doesn’t mean the map has to expand by the same amount.
Unsure what other games you played over your lifetime but I am guessing the “distance” on Test Drive 1 as well as GTA5 to cross the map is bigger than on Horizon 2.
700 events compared to 150 ish maybe in 1? That’s probably 4-5 times as many…
i’m sure the map won’t be the biggest in any game but the map better be a decent size bigger unless they just stack 10-20 missions on top of one another.
Yup, you’re correct there; spent ages finishing the entire roster in FM. And ofcourse, Horizon should “unlock” stuff easier because you drive around, find races automatically whereas FM you needed to go back & forth, drive that same car or track over and over again.
