Ok some how when I logged in tonight when u go to my name my ranking is showing as level 1 but at the top of the screen my real level (257) shows, when u race now I don’t rank up and don’t earn any money. This is when playing online
If this cannot be fixed it’s good buy forza, this game has been such a let down
Your driver level HAS NOT BEEN RESET - it is a display problem. Basically when you are online the driver level is displayed us an 8 bit system. Unfortunately this system is limited to 256 individual events, and the way it has been set up for years in FM means that it goes back to zero when online and level 256 and so on. This is only a display issue and has no effect on your game and has not reset anything - it just isn’t showing something to you.
Don’t know why you aren’t earning CR though - they are not linked unless you have been banned or something similar. SnowOwl or ManteaMax might know better there.
I have seen loads of players over 256, now I went and played a single player race ranked up to 258 when i go online my rank in player box shows level 2, I earn no credits and no xp when playing online.
As the poster above said your level IS 258. It just shows as 2 online. When you level up to 259 it will show as 3 online.
When you earnt no credits did you use a rental car? That is the only explanation I can think of.
If you used your own car and got zero credits not sure what else could explain it.
No I didn’t use a rental and the only way I can rank up now is in single player as I earn nothing online. This is major pisser as I only play online

There is nothing to help.
It’s a known graphical glitch. Everything is fine.
Also, you have not seen anyone over 256 on your multiplayer screen.
you should still be getting paid online unless you are having too many wrecks. perhaps its a logging glitch. hold your finger ovr the consoles power button until it shuts down all the way. it should take a few seconds. restart your xbox and it should take a while longer to boot back up since it is resetting everything but it should clear out any logging problems. turning it off from the controler or kinnect wont work.
the driver level roll over is normal and its gonna happen to you at level 510 again, every 255 levels you roll over, but you still get paid.
This really works so if you having problems try what he says to do.
Ok I was pretty sure I saw someone at over 300 but I could be wrong but I am definitely not getting any credits or xp, I am a pretty clean racer so can’t see it being down to wrecking, it’s very frustrating 
OK - you say you’re not getting Credits or XP at the end of a multi-player race…
What do you see on-screen? Does it show 0 Credits earned and 0 XP earned? Do you never see an end-of-race screen? Does it show #### Credits and #### XP, but you don’t see it get added to your existing Credits and XP?
Try recording the end-of-race screens (just say “XBox, record that!” and it should save the prior 30-seconds). Then upload the video clip and maybe we can figure out what’s going on.
do the hard reset. turn it hold your finger over the white xbox power button till it turns off then turn it back on. it has to be a case of you not getting fully logged in. rolling over is normal. not getting paid isn’t.
Ok turned the Xbox off at the wall to reset and I am now getting xp and credits, sorry for the rant just had one off those days
