Can we expect all cars that were in Forza 5 to be in Horizon 2…?
I can understand maybe not putting some of the Grand Prix cars and other Open wheel racecars
Im just a little worried about once again having to pay for cars that we had for free in the previous game
But Id still gladly buy them…Cuz you know…cars…
Maybe not all of the cars (especially the race cars), we will definitely see lots of cars from FM5. Right now, most of the cars announced are in FM5.
There was no agreement when we bought Forza 5 that all the cars contained therein would be ours for free in perpetuity for all future Forza installments. We didn’t pay for working lights or windshield wipers or the related audio necessary for each car model. We didn’t pay for the potential rebalancing of the physics and PI for the open world setting. And it would be no surprise if a car manufacturer said, “Oh, now that you made money on our deal with FM5 you want to make more money on our cars in a different game? So do we. New license.” And a myriad of other reasons that I nor anyone else who hasn’t seen the contracts and the effort required to develop the game may even imagine. This comes up with every Forza installment and it still misses the point: when we buy Forza Horizon 2, we are paying for the assets in that game only, with no guarantee that the cars in FH2 will be in any other Forza game again. If that bothers you then don’t volunteer your money. But recognize that paying once doesn’t entitle you to the same content over and over again for free.
“I’m just a little worried” = “I wish that…” = wishlist = lock.
