I noticed that my best lap and the total race time are not the same on a 1 lap race of Nordschleife. Where is the discrepancy from? It doesn’t seem consistent between drivers.

The Lap Timer doesn’t start until you cross the starting line.
The Race Timer starts on Go.
Because of this, the farther back you start in the grid, the faster you’ll be going when starting the Lap Timer, giving you a faster time lap than the ones in the front.
