No way to adjust screen borders?

I played the demo and noticed that the HUD was spilling off the edge of my TV a fair amount, and I didn’t see a way to adjust the borders like a lot of games offer. Now admittedly my TV isn’t the greatest (it doesn’t have any built in settings to address this), but it’s not like I’m going to upgrade just to see more than half of the first digit of of the lap counter, so it’d be kinda nice if that was addressed in the full game or, more likely, a patch.

Have you checked in options/settings under video

Yeah, it just seems to be the same brightness and subtitles screen that appears on startup.

You will need to tinker with your TV settings. For help, I would suggest that, from your XB1’s home screen, choose Settings on the left-hand side of the screen, then, in the Display & Sound category, choose Video Output. From there, keep proceeding until you get to the Aspect Ratio and Screen Size screen, where it’ll tell you what setting to change on your TV. The name of the setting varies by TV. Hope that helps, sorry I’m not a tech wiz!

I’ve had this issue with something else in the past and my TV just simply doesn’t have any settings for screen size. It’s just an old, cheap Vizio that doesn’t even do 1080p. It’s unfortunate, but it’s hardly ever been an issue because almost all other games I’ve ever played on it either let you adjust in game, or leave enough space on the edges that it doesn’t matter.

That’s a bummer. Maybe they’ll update it so that you can adjust screen borders in-game (though it probably won’t happen). Oh well, at least I tried to help!
