No S13 or S14 Silvia? what gives?

How come there isn’t an S13 Silvia or S14 Silvia in the game?
Doesn’t that bother you guys?

Nope. Not really.

It bothers me. They are both iconic in the drift world.

The reason i said it dosent botther me is because. One thing we didnt make the game. Two we would not know how to setup the modles or get the licensing for these cars. The game is still very knew and their are still alot of cars for you to drive. I am not saying that they will or will not put those cars in the game. Because it is not my choice. And as you say " Iconic Drift Cars" you are correct. So what about the 240sx and then the S15. Are those not “Iconic” ?

We all want alot of cars in this game but the truth is. If you spent all that money for a game that you knew what was in it and still complain about what is not in the game now. I dont see the point. There are alot of cars i wish they had. But they don’t. And that easy im over it. You have your own opinion and i respect that but honestly you can not even say that the game dose not make up for its flaws?

and on another note i cant wait until future things come.

Swirly nailed it right on the head.

There’s plenty that I see wrong with the game, but you need to understand that there’s a reason for it. T10 want to give us everything we want but sometimes they just can’t. There’s money and politics involved in every game and they just did whatever they could do the best they can with FM5. I truly believe they will make it up with FH2 and FM6… immensely.

Notice the marketplace is still not there? My assumption is because it was the least important thing they needed to get done before release. That really shows they were on a time crunch. I’m really impressed with what they did get done in such as short amount of time. I don’t know the politics of making the game but I still believe, regardless of what I’ve heard, that M$ pushed them to release it on launch day for sales purposes. I know a little of retail marketing and the workings of it so it just makes sense to me. Not influenced by anyone else’s opinion. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want those cars in the game, I was bummed until I thought about it.

No disrespect to anyone, let’s keep it family friendly on here

Well Said Sir

The thing is this, it’s really easy to say what’s wrong with the game, without having played it. Such as the lack of tracks from FM4, the low amount of cars in comparison to FM4, the lack of a functioning marketplace/auction house. However, there are so many things that overshadow those missing items for myself and most people I speak to. The RWD swaps for every car, the cross platform motor swaps, the 3000 layer limit when painting, the feel of rumble in the triggers when drifting, the physics themselves. Yeah, they rushed it out with less content than we’d have all liked, but the main thing, the physics, are there, everything else like tracks and cars can be added. And while I do miss some of my favorite tracks, I’ve not once felt that I didn’t have enough cars to drift.

You’re totally right! That’s why it keeps me interested.

Agreed.
I am having a blast with FM5. I can live with what was released with the game. And since replays were added I am happy.

As a S13 owner this does bother me a little.

I love creating my real life car, in the game.

Hoping that they will add them in with an update

I can also see this point of view. I was happy when they put in the '95 Cobra and the Ram in FM4. I loved making my old cars.

Everyone also needs to remember that this game was rebuilt from the ground up for next gen. All the tracks and car models were re-done. Go back and play Forza 4 and race on the tracks that are in Forza 5, the difference of elevation in turns and the layout of the tracks is huge. While it would be nice to have all the cars we already had in Forza 4 in Forza 5 remember this. It takes a minimum of 9 months for them to redo a track and I also heard it can take 3-6 months to get a car model finished. Whether or not the info is 100% correct, you have to remember it takes time to remake/remodel everything. They aren’t just porting it from Forza 4.

Just think once everything has been remodeled they shouldn’t need to do it again this generation of consoles. Forza 5 is my favourite Forza thus far and Forza 6 will be even better

Also if a company makes a perfect game that had everything everyone wants in it then they wouldn’t be able to make anything else there for no more money to be made, I know it’s only a couple of cars your wishing for but I’m shore they would stick them in a car pack, let forza live on and be happy with what they have done, hopefully they bring out a special drift car pack that would be sooooo good

If this game ever had everything people wanted…cars tracks etc. It would cost $200

Most of this game was being created before they ever even had a working dev kit

Everything everyone said here is exactly right, and I am usually the most positive person in the room when talking about Forza 5, but working extensively with Formula Drift designs over the past couple weeks, I must admit the most disappointed I have been since the release of the game was finding no s13. I don’t feel like The Evil Empire caused it for financial gain or anything like that, or even that it is a mistake, but it would be nice to see one in the near future.

I would like to be able to make my old S14. I hope they release them as a FREE DLC.

I was more bothered that the only S14 available in the previous titles was a Zenki. And there is an S13 240 available at least, though I do like the coupe just a little bit more. A Sil-Eighty would be an even bigger deal.

it bothers me alot, im not geting the game till they make it better then forza 4, as of right now less tracks and some really good cars are missing im good. no way.

This Forza is the best Forzamotorsport I have ever played. And its not even 40% complete.

People buy all these PC simulation games and love the physics, but there’s probably like 4-5 cars they can drift. If that. Like R factor (No drama). But people play it

Forza 5 is a NEW game. Nothing like the old game. The physics are gorgeous, the tracks and visuals are amazing. Do you even know how breathtaking the game looks when driving fast?

The game has a lack of tracks only when COMPARED to its older version. The game has a LACK OF CARS when compared to its older version too.

But it makes up for it with stunning renders bought to life. The cars are VERY well made, the physics when driving them make you feel like the game syncs with your movement. The sounds 90% of them are great. gorgeous engine sounds. And the RB26… O…M…G… sounds something sexual.

You take every positive, from FM4 and it makes the game look better than FM5. But if you take every POSITIVE from FM5, it makes FM4 look shoddy. Why drift an old S13 when you can drift Bmw’s with RB engines? Or AE86’s with v8’s.

You can suffer the loss of not having an s13… but i doubt it would be missed if you never drifted it in the first place.
