When you win a race in 2nd or 3rd place, it doesn’t show it on the map. It just says “completed” highlighted in gold. Suppose you went through a tough race, won 2nd place, and want to go back to it later? You won’t remember your best record if it just says “completed”. This forces people to get 1st place on the spot without going back to the race later. Horizon 3 displayed gold, silver, or bronze medals after a race was completed. Horizon 4 does not. If all the races just say “completed” on the map, regardless of how the player did, this destroys all motivation to win races when you can’t keep track of your progress. It’s showing it doesn’t matter how you did. It’s still completed. You still won. Just breeze through it, and it shows “completed” anyway. This sounds like a political tactic to me, as if “everyone is a winner” or “no child left behind.”. Anyone else feel this way? Or is there a way to check individual race records? There’s no medals, no best time, no best lap… There’s nothing.

I’m glad I’m not the only one upset by this.

Apologies for reviving such an old post, but having just started playing the game this was something that really surprised me; at the very least, I expected best finishing position to be recorded, and I’d have thought best overall time too (fastest lap also wouldn’t hurt).
Isn’t that kind of the point in some ways, to try and beat your best times etc? I’m only a handful of races in so far (all of which I’ve managed to win), but is this the case for all the ‘normal’ single player races in the game, ie no player stats are recorded?
Just seems like a very odd design choice; though as I’m new to Forza, maybe I’m missing something?
