Greetings all! Old man new to Xbox/Forza Horizon 4 here. Any tips and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated, starting with how do I edit my avatar for forum posts?

I’ve tried to change my forum avatar for over a year with no luck… if you do end up figuring it out, please share.
Tips? Hmmm… I guess I would say to always remember that Horizon is a “Playground”. You can do what you want, when you want. It can be quite entertaining at times, frustrating at others.
Members here are pretty helpful when you do run into issues, so don’t hesitate to “search” the forum, or post issues.

I think the avatars are set automatically if you set up a character. You remember those Xbox Home avatar characters they used to have back in the day? The Mii knock-offs? They still exist, actually, but you might need to go hunting for it in your apps. Just make one of those. I don’t remember if you need to set it as your profile pic or not.
This thread inspired me to change my avatar to a picture of a chicken. However after 5.372 minutes of attempting to do this… I have determined it is impossible.
As for the rest of OP’s post: I have no constructive criticism at this time, just sincere gratitude that you didn’t type the title of your post in all caps. And as far as online play goes; just have fun and don’t be a massive jerk. There’s ways to be more competitive online in FH4 (eg awd, op cars, intentional collisions, whatever etc) but IMHO all that stuff is outweighed by FH4’s inherent online drawbacks/exploits and lack of worthwhile rewards. So might as well just pick a car you like and have fun.
