I meant being Eliminator top player and being in top 50 in accolades means something. It’s not casual old guy playing after few beers for fun. When being pretty good is not enough.
I’m already in casual mode, I did all the Open racing I can handle the 2nd or 3rd week the game was available to me. Not gonna quit altogether, I just will limit my time playing. Not gonna force myself to play it much longer and that’s exactly how I feel. Forcing myself to play to get the accolades section complete, after that the odds of me quitting goes way up.
We’ve been asking for an Eliminator leaderboard but apparently that’s out of the question. My satisfaction level starts and ends at: the game should be working properly after a whole month. Tasks to progress up your HOF ladder, should be the ONE thing that works flawlessly but it doesnt. I hate the new physics system but I march through it. Doesn’t matter what type of vehicle you use, it seems like the rollover rate has been turned up to 15, even if you are in a rally or extreme offroad car.
Momentum is everything in this game and yet there are an endless amount of “obstacles” that will slow you down to a crawl. The reason I loved winter so much in FH4 was visibility, you could see for miles and miles and miles. This game so much of the time you are driving blind into a section of trees, those said trees have piles of logs, logs that make it impossible to squeeze through unscathed or a random cluster of boulders. Why? Because its funny to see someone get stuck? Sure maybe its funny to see it happen to someone else but how long before the person who gets stuck, says why am I even participating in this? Enjoyment vs frustration is nowhere near 50/50, its more like 20/80. So I completely understand everyone’s frustration with the state of this new released (one year delayed) game.
Depends on if it’s good enough for you. It’s about bars you set. DaReo has it higher.
I am just over 2000th and it’s probably enough for me, because game is very broken for now. I will work on my racing only. This game is huge and you can do one thing for months without doing anything else. That’s the reason why it’s the best racing game ever!
I had two or three crashes back to the xbox dashboard today within 30-40 minutes while working on some accolades. Both times I was rewinding to line up danger signs and boop… gone. Brutal.
Then I get a bunch of emails asking if I still need help with all the tickets I submitted on Saturday. Like yeah, I’m not submitting them for fun.
What? no dude. Not even closer. Right now, FH5 must be the most bugged released game ever in, at least the last ten years.
Also the main difference is, Cyberpunk was completely new game. And nobody cares about GTA, sorry. Please guys stop trying to justify the terrible job of the devs.
It’s no doubt the most broken Forza…wait there was Motorsport 5…that wasn’t ever finished and should be deleted from everyones memory. So Horizon 5 is the most broken Horizon!
Yes there are problems, but in general it is still enjoyable more or less. Depending on what you are focusing of course.
I just like to drive and build cars. That works and looks great on my Series X. If you are into online and convoys and stuff…yep you are screwed.
So from my perspective it’s ok(ish). From yours it’s broken af.
OK, perhaps and edit to read “ONE OF THE MOST UNFINISHED AND BROKEN GAMES EVER RELEASED”.
Personally, I haven’t played, nor have I had a desire to play either of the other games you mentioned, but Horizon 5 is truly the single most unfinished and broken games I have ever played (and I have played a metric ton of games.)
Just FYI: I waited 10 minutes and it finally loaded. Then it took 4 minutes to go from the first screen and the “Continue” button.
Now, I’ve been waiting another 10 minutes to actually get into the game.
Basically, it loads, but stupid slow.
No, it’s not my i-net. I’m getting 300/300…I checked.
