I have asked this as well. Would save a lot of red tape. But who knows?
I donât know if this should be a separate topic, but one option I need in my life is invisible race adjustable aero. So you can have the benefits of race adjustable aero, but without your car looking ugly.
Honestly, aero options should be separate from adujstableness. I.e. when applying wings on your car, you should have the option to make them adjustable (as a separate option of some kind) or leave them just visual.
I think thats worth to open a individual topic.
Maybe you should post the link to this here, after opening.
Just so you all know, the Big Country Labs wings ported over from Horizon 5 are not enough new aero. Iâd go further, theyâre not enough as they currently stand with just one variant, we need a lower variant of BCL wings at the very least
Agreed. But itâs a start. Hopefully more aero options will be added soon.
The installation of aero parts also includes the element of dressing up, so the design must be cool. What I value is the optimum proportions and controlled balance. The optimum length. The optimum height. The optimum angle. However, the âForza Wingâ that is installed on hatchback-type cars is far from my preference and is very uncool.
Forza, like other Microsoft games, devolved as it progressed through the versions. We got 18 piddling wings for 18 cars and they are just as ugly as the original forza aero wing.
All the cars that use that stupid looking gurney flap, still are stuck with the same ugly flap. It really ruins the lines of a car no matter what car it is used on. A flap option that fliws with the lines of a car would be a nice addition to the forza aero options.
But it doesnât matter, nothing matters because nothing anyone says on the forums matters anymore.
maybe not this customization system but the wings should look as nice as these.
and of course adjustable downforce for all of them
Iâd love for T10 to add more styles, period.
Weâve had the same spoilers & splitters for over a decadeâŚit is high time that changedâŚnot only that, but, a balancing of the downforce given.
For instanceâŚif you put downforce on some carsâŚthe rear might be twice the amount or more of the frontâŚthus causing TERRIBLE understeer, even if you max the front & lowered the rear.
I vote there be different types of aero for the adjustable body parts.
Stage 1. Splitters, basic wings, tiny canards, netting generally low downforceâŚessentially what most cars have now.
Stage 2. Add big canards, change splitter angle/style, add a bigger spoiler for 25-30% more downforce.
Stage 3. GT-esc style front, rear & side aeroâŚlots of downforce capabilities, massive canards & splitter on top of having that HUGE table of a spoiler in back.
If notâŚthenâŚmaybe partner up with aero companies to like Seibon or something, to make a variety of aero stylesâŚsimilar to how we can choose wheel styles.
At this point I would be happy if T10 ported over the Forza Aero from the older FM games. I wouldnât even care that itâs a port over.
The problem with Forza aero is that it is uniform for all car models and is not optimized for each car. Also, since the elements that users find cool vary, it is best to have something that allows users to adjust the height and width. Strictly speaking, the amount of downforce will change if the height or width is different, but it is enough to just change the appearance. Forza is a game after all.
What drives me crazy the most about the Forza wing are the winglets. Theyâre off center and oversized. Plus their shape seems odd for a spoiler.
I agree that the Forza wings are ugly. However, âcoolâ and âuglyâ are subjective opinions, so I think T10 and PGG should offer more options. As I wrote in another thread, I think they should add new aero parts with downforce adjustment function that are the same shape as the aero parts without downforce adjustment function such as street aero and sports aero, which have low contribution in the game.
I agree. I have also asked for multiple styles of aero. This way if one style doesnât suite a car thereâs a chance another can. Even a couple different versions of the âForza wingâ just to increase options for players.
Bump for new Forza aero.
I think you said it best, I was just modding the CT5 Blackwing and they have a really cool front lip for the car, as most do, but I was just thinking that the one thing that would make this car perfect imo, was having a rear bumper aero that I could tune to whatever I wanted. I think this is such a vital thing to have in any car game. Customization should be a larger priority for the devs to give the users the full experience of personalization. Anyone Iâve talked to about this throughout car shows and personal car cruises has agreed and wanted forza body kits for every car just like the current Race Rear Wing and Race Front Bumper.
Bump to keep this thread alive. Not giving up hope yet.
Another bump for the thread. Also would like the lip spoiler aero for the 90s cars as some used said aero.
