Looking for some old school Muscle or Classic RWD vehicles to have fun in on the Drag Mode. I’m looking for vehicles that are fun to drive (no awd plz). I want a challenge!
What vehicles and tunes do you recommend?
While doing the Drag Race Forzathon challenge I discovered I’m terrible at drag racing (mostly with controlling wheelspin on RWD cars) so I’m not necessarily the best person to be responding to this question, but one of the things I’ve enjoyed in Forza games over the years is way too much power in a car that’s not supposed to be fast.
I haven’t tried this, but I think it would be funny to do a Major Micros drag race. Most of these cars have a R-R drivetrain, which would work well for maximizing traction, and when maxed out can get some pretty insane power to weight ratios since they weigh so little. Handling is questionable, but in a drag race that doesn’t really matter.
Now I want to go see how a Abarth 595 with 700+ HP works as a drag car…
I’ve shared a bunch of what you would consider the normal drag cars. S class, RWD muscle cars. A few others. They should be pretty competitive, may take a few runs to get the hang of them, throttle control and shift points and what not.
Some I build to “street” race with friends and some are tuned for the test track. The two won’t launch the same. Again, give ‘me a run or two to figure then out. If ya feel like trying them.
I will definitely check them out.
Have you tried to tune with the new mode in mind? It seems a lot of the old drag setups don’t work great with the new mode and tree where you can choose your rev point before launching.
Some of the steet tunes cars will work well. Sometime this weekend I will jump on, look at what I do have shared. I have only had a little bit of time on this so far so I haven’t tuned much. Mostly tried to force a couple favs down a time or 2. I think I put something in the descriptions, maybe? Lol
I do like the new drag update! Any plans for 1/2 mile? It would be cool if we could Drag 4 friends at a time & an option to change the tree timer to random. I think this is where I post feedback.

The Nova is pretty quick for S Class Muscle. It’s on the board surrounded by R and P class. Along with Beetles, lol.
