I have been on-and-off participating in the Monthly Rivals drag racing events and have really been enjoying these. Today I was able to get a top-40 at the Street Burner event with FatBurns tune for the '02 Camaro [#37 in LBs w/23.084sec], and, a top-30 at the Zoom Zoom event with Reaper Mech’s tune for the #7 Mazda [#30 w/14.767]. Both of these with NO ASSISTs.

So, as a learning experience, I wanted to get my own tune in place in run my ghost for both of these. Ny first try was tuning the Mazda. The problem I ran into is that it has a strong start on 1st gear yet quickly drops and does not reach near redline so I can shift properly at right moment. Thus, need some guidance from the community to get the gearing corrected and then I can worry about the rest of the tune. For the rest of the tune I primarily used insights offered in several threads/post (thanks to Reaper Mech, , BIGpoppaKEGdog, others).
Here is my current gearing setup: 2.45 FD // 1.78/1.60/1.40/1.21
