I’ve was wondering if anyone can make me a custom paint on a gmc cyclone of my buddies lowered chevy s10…I’m not much of a good painter …I’ve tried plenty of times (playing since forza 3) but I never really worked out . This was going to be a little birthday gift to him since hes selling the car but if he has it in forza he would remember it and be able to drive it forever. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. Here’s a couple of pics I have of the truck, if you need to see anymore just comment and i will put more up.
Sorry to all who want me to put pics instead of links up but for some reason when i try to add pics it only adds the link of the pic and not the pic itself. Hopefully someone will do this on the GMC Cyclone cause i do like both Wildcat and HotRods artwork.
Link not working, post pic with out a link,
+1 post pics of it
Not trying to be a prick but if you can post a link you can post a pic
I’d give it a try but I don’t like chasing down links and pics.
Torque … type in the ‘@N08’ at the end of the copied URL to get there. Also, a couple more pics would be helpful if you have them.
B/C my artwork sux ![]()
I see what I can do
@ Torque i just haven’t seen any of your work so i can’t really say anything…if you want to have a go at the truck go right ahead ill probably take everyones designed after they’re all finished
ForzaAddict … I appreciate your comments very much. I’m not anywhere near as good as some around here. If you get someone to work on it for you now … that’s great. If you don’t happen to get anything you like here pretty soon … check back in with me. My only real issue is time … between real life and the fact that I have two designs I’m currently working on already … not much time right now to take on a new project. I know you said you wanted it for a buddy’s birthday … when’s the birthday?
@Wildcat his birthday was August 3rd so it already passed but i got him a actual gift so in the long run theres no rush for the design to be finished…now its just a late present and so he will remember the truck for what it really is (which is a show truck), its won 1st in dropped and destroyed competition a couple years back and now since he has a son on the way he’s gotta sell it for something 4 doors (most likely his next project vehicle)
is anyone working on this for me? just wondering if i should keep tabs on this post anymore or not
Have you already gotten any help with it yet? No promises on a timeline, but I could give it a go if no one else does.
A better view of the logo on the back would be helpful, though, if you can.
@Eat ur FACE01 tbh i don’t know if anyone is working on it or not…some pretty talented designers commented on here but i don’t think anyone ever started it but maybe I’m wrong…if you want to give it a go then be my guest and ill accept all versions go this design
Sure, I’m between serious designs anyways. I’ll try and work on it a bit this week, but I have a lot going on so it might be a couple before I can get anything substantial done, it’s pretty hard to tell how much time I’ll have to play around until it happens lol.
Not sure why I didn’t think of it before, but doing this on the Syclone poses a major problem with the inability to change the color of the skirts (they remain a flat black and cannot have vinyls placed over them while using a flake-type paint). Is there another car/truck/thing that he would find it really cool on? Because I’m not sure there is a good way to make it look right on that GMC.
Just one more reason T10 needs to get their UV mapping problems worked out.
@EAT ur FACE01 not really i was planning to make a game save with the car on it and buy my buddy forza 5, he’s currently in process of selling this because he’s got a son on the way and needs a more family friendly car. I was hoping someone can complete the car before his birthday but unfortunately that didn’t happen so i just got him the game. f theres no way to do this or you don’t have the time no worries. I might just end up doing the best i can (even tho I’m completely terrible at painting) but oh well.
I’d be happy to give it a go, doesn’t look too complicated, only issue is as was mentioned above, the skirts cant be changed on the GMC, Ill see how I go anyway, hopefully have something up tommorrow, Ill add your gamertag when Im on next. Also, what kind of number plate is that? (Im from Australia so I dont recognise that one) Ill do a google search and try replicate it
OK, heres what I came up with,
Not too sure on the colour, hard to tell exactly from the pics supplied but just let me know if its off, more blue, less saturated etc and I can change it.
The black skirts pose a massive problem but unfortunately that can’t be helped, Tried it out on the Ford Raptor aswell but the wheel wells on that make it too cramped where the curve of the decals go.
Only other option would be perhaps the Ford f100 but thats DLC that I dont have yet so I cant help with that.
Currently having problems sharing the design to the storefront but the title of it is: ChevS10
If you can;t find it let me know and I’ll keep trying to get it up. (I think I’ve fixed it now anyway so should be up).
********For the wheels, I used the “Superturismo GT” by OZ in the Sport rim styles, then made rim size bigger and dropped the ride height as low as possible. Also used the Forza front bumper, no wing. Any other upgrades are all your tuning preference and dont really affect the aesthetics of it. *******
Heres some pics in the meantime. Only took them quick so the colours arent great IMO.
Let me know what you think!
Ruddy88
@Ruddy88 that actually looks good counting how to all arounds skirts are, i gave it a go and it actually looked horrible and ended up deleting my whole design. But thanks for making this for me , thought it was a lost cause because of the skirts and bumper that stays black.
That looks really good! I had a busy weekend and wasn’t able to try anything out, but Ruddy managed to still really make it work with that black trim. Hope your friend loves it.
Happy to help. Probably could have gotten that curve a bit nicer. And the dgn logo on the back was a bit of a quick job just using the forza fonts but they were pretty close.
