Alright, I’m fixing to run a 50 lap race at Long Beach East in B Class against unbeatable drivatars (about 50 mins). I will be looking to see how FFB & Vibration (see if vibration no longer drops off) are after this latest update. Feel free to drop in on my stream & ask a question. I’ll answer them. After I complete the race, I’ll post my thoughts here. I will be using zero assist, full sim. Let the fun begin testing out my TX on new update.
In regards to twitch, either add me to your friends list (gangrel) or search my twitch name (nissan4ever).
I will be running these settings.
Vibration 90
FFB 85
DOR 360
Well, finished my run. First off, they greatly improved the vibration. I can feel more of what the tires are doing big time! The FFB has been improved as well. Driving the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe was a treat. I never had any issues during the 50 minutes race with my FFB, & definitely didn’t have my vibration drop off. I’m very pleased!
To top it off, while I was doing the race against 16 unbeatable drivatars, I BEAT MY BEST TIME AT LONG BEACH EAST!
I beat my previous best by .504! I gained a half a second because I could feel my car even better & knew when to get on throttle. Plus the steering was very fluid too. My time is now 0:00:57.421.
Great job Turn 10. Now unfortunately I must say this. Now that my TX really works good on Xbox One & FM5 (which it already did on PC racing titles). I really freaking can’t wait for Project Cars in November! Hopefully they to will properly implement the TX, as FM5 has now.
If you don’t own a wheel, I extremely highly recommend the Thrustmaster TX with GTE add on rim!
Thanks for sharing Gangrel, I agree with you on Project Cars. Also looking for to Horizon 2.
Did you always run 360 Degrees? I run 900 with 75 ff and 2 flashes wirh the mode and paddle up. Ihave gone back to normal steering again as well(I know, I know, Ive been a bit of a lobbyist for sim steering lol) I used to run 60 ffb for the most part, but now I’m at around 75-72.
I will stream tonight on twitch me testing out my FWD CRX at Laguna Seca tonight. I will run these settings when I do.
Vibration 90
FFB 80
DOR 540°
Stream will probably be a 50 minute race with unbeatable drivatars with no assists & full sim. Let’s see how much lower I can set my time at this track. I bettered my Long Beach East B Class time by a half a second.
Make sure when you get your TX, update the firmware to V47!
I know you will enjoy it. I have mine hooked up to a Wheel Stand Pro V2 ($130). Check out my stream later tonight in probably 6 hrs when I testing my FWD car on latest update.
I haven’t preordered Project Cars yet. I will closer to launch since I will be getting digital copy of LE. I got 4TB of external storage on my Xbox One
Alright, I’m fixing to stream on twitch me testing out FWD CRX after August update (about an hour long race). Part of the reason I didn’t drive FWD that much was because how Turn 10 implemented FFB on FM5 for that drive type. I really didn’t like it & mainly drove RWD.
I’m happy to say, FWD is a lot better now with this update. The car no longer was doing that steering wheel jerk thing going straight down the track. Although I don’t see myself driving FWD no more. I’m on a RWD kick for now.
Ghost445, thanks for watching my stream! Follow me on Xbox.
