My reasoning as to why Forza 5 went backwards for racing sims. (opinions needed)

I feel that the franchise went backwards rather than forwards.

Ok, so firstly. T10 didn’t have enough time to work on FM5, that’s obvious by the lack of tracks etc. But one thing which really, REALLY grinds my gears is the lack of feeling I get when playing. I don’t feel the rush of the crowd. I don’t see the timing boards light up and ‘Tagheuer Timing’ flying across the screen or anything like that! I don’t see pit crews, pit girls, little kids running up to the fences to watch their favourite cars fly past.

I just feel, that with the advancements in racing games surely these should have been implemented?

The whole game just feels a little…dead? is that the right word to use? like I’m racing on a ghost track. Sure the ambient noise of the crowd is great! but with only the occasional flag waving, I feel nothing.

Not even the obvious, a chequered flag when I finish?

T10, if you see this. Please try and implement these things on to Forza 5, or at least Forza 6. Maybe some TV camera style replays? maybe Jeremy Clarkson narrating a reply on the TG track, anything that makes me feel ‘inside’ the game.

Opinions guys? or am I just being an idiot?
