I have been having a number of issues with Forza 5, ever since all my data was lost a few days back.
1, when applying new design I get the “too many saves box appearing” ( I have only 10 designs saved)
2, when upgrading some cars I get the “too many saves box appearing”. when I try save upgrades the menu freezes and I have to quit game and restart to continue playing, this is a real pain
3, when saving tunes I get the "too many saves box appearing (I have only 20 tunes saved in total across all cars)
4, the cars that show on the “My Cars Menu” are not showing the designs that I have applied, they show up in the designs menu and also when racing.
Hey all, so after much time spent trying to get the bottom of the issue’s i have mentioned in my first thread, with not much successes i was forced to contact Xbox One support, again after much time spent clearing cache file’s, deleting persistent storage and uninstalling the game, along with removing profile also powering down the console three times.
It was decided that these issues would have to be looked at by higher support team, I was contacted that evening by Justen from the Global escalation support team. I was sent by email over the next two days a number of options to try and fix the issues, along with an explanation as what the possible problem was, which was a corrupt cloud save, which in turn was causing issues with syncing data to the cloud, which in turn again was causing the in game issues and loss of data, which is a known issue to MS Live.
Although it was necessary for me to use one the most drastic option, I believe that all of the options would be very useful to anyone, who is facing the same issues, please post a reply and i will pass them over.
