Is anyone experiencing the servers being down the past couple of days. Haven’t been able to play online at all and sometimes syncing data doesn’t succeed as well
That sounds like your connection
My syncing has been ok but multiplayer has been problematic.
My solution has been reboot immediately before heading into mp. But if you try it make sure your console is set to energy save mode.
This has only been a recent problem for me ie since mondayish.
SatNite; your “issue” that it only works after a reboot and mostly with energy save, sounds familiar when I ready the beta-forums for the firmware. Even though I am a beta-tester, I tend to shut down my console completely (so no background updates, downloads and so on). Yes, it takes longer to power on but each time you boot, the console will reactivate all network-connections cleanly and some “trash from your cache” will be gone as well.
Hey Guys
I found out what the problem was. I had a NetGear Nighthawk R7000 and I found out that it is not supported by Xbox. I ended up buying the new Linksys WRT1900ac and everything has being working perfectly. If anyone has trouble connecting to Xbox Live in general I would check out your router.
That’s weird; there are multiple posts on the XB-forums from people that have no issues whatsoever with that specific NetGear and playing online. Most likely there is an alternate issue present (firmware, portforwards, firewalling, etc.) that has caused the issue.
For your info; the port-numbers for the Xbox One have changed/increased to be forwarded over the Xbox 360 so switching out consoles is no longer possible due to the need for defining extra/new portforward-rules.
My current setup:
TCP
53, 80, 3074, 3075, 42920
UDP
53, 88, 500, 3074, 3075, 3076, 3544, 4500, 36081, 42920, 49390
Furthermore, separate games might need extra ports as well; most notably Ghosts needs 3076 as well.
