Multiplayer Forza Motorsport 6

Forza 6 will finally have a multiplayer mode worthy of the name this time?

That is to say a multiplayer mode CUSTOM OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (friends + other players)? To prohibit the use of race tires / ban downforce also … Make warm-up before the race and qualifications …

Will the world ranking of consistent lap times last? Common sense would like players using one or more driver aids down the standings even if their time is better than someone who does not use it!
It will be more interesting to know which site or is with an exact model of car compared to all other players rather than just mix with class!
Example: I did my personal best with a class A and is a Ford Mustang … what interests me is to know my ranking among all other Ford Mustang in the same class and that do not use of driver aids! Without it there is chaos, everything is permitted have anything and ranking becomes absurd (like Forza 5 now … especially with cheatées cars)

Multiplayer Forza 5 was a disaster! It was a magnet for noobs! Too many players unable to switch speed manual / braking without ABS / to manage an accelerator for not slipping / rolling with anything other than the four-wheel-assisted unbeatable on !!!

Will we finally sell cars or share them as you always existed in the Forza series?

Will it also wait more than six months to have access to all the content of the game?

Will there from the first hour of the first day of DLC to buy?

It’s fun to watch a video without holding arise now … Project Cars Assetto Corsa and for those who wish to play a simulation and its side Forza 6 for those who play to artists and like to play bumper cars?

An unhappy customer forza 5!

Yes
No.

Place these at the ends of whichever question(s) best suit(s) the response(s) you want.

I do wish that the online mode needs to be sorted out and get custom public lobbies back, but do what I did and use the features wishlist thread.

Do you mean ban drag tyres? If so then sure we should have that option.

Ban downforce? Really?

If you want cycled production then yes please bring it back.

If you want, in your lobbies, to pick and choose which parts are available then maybe I can understand. I assume you want to not use aero parts but still have suspension tuning and the like?

I really want to be exited about FM6, but if Turn 10 continues to remove players options in multiplayer I’m not going to be very interested in it I’m afraid.
IMO, multiplayer in Forza has been on the decline since F5 decided to go with hoppers only, and truly hit rock bottom (at least I hope it can’t get worse) when someone, somewhere, had the horrible idea not to include lobbies or even hoppers at all in Forza Horizon 2. I haven’t wanted to play FH2 much at all since completing single player, as apposed to FH1 occupying my time for a year through the legs of its multiplayer, and I’d hate to see the same thing happen in Forza 6.
I’m a huge fan of the Forza games and hope they’ll continue to lead the pack in their greatness, but that will be hard to do if they keep on cutting back on the multiplayer options since multiplayer is what really gives a racing game longevity. With Project Cars releasing before F6 and already confirmed to have custom lobbies, it would be a shame if Forza’s current lack of multiplayer options cause the franchise to take a backseat to another one.
Since asking repeatedly for the addition of custom lobbies after F5 released and again in FH2 after its release showed that those requests fall of deaf ears and are never even acknowledged [Mod removed - fyerball]

I know from reading other posts on these forums that there are other players who feel the same, but I’m curious, are we just a small group and do most players not want or care about having any real options when it comes to setting up racing online? The only time I’ve heard anyone from Turn 10 address this was in an interview about FH2 and the guy from T10 (I can’t remember who it was) was talking about how much the community loved FH2’s simple take on online. That has me really worried for future games.
So, am I alone in preferring real options for multiplayer? I’d love to hear anyone else’s opinions on the matter.

Out of recent games my preferred multiplayer setup was the original Horizon.

Of course it takes public multiplayer races with cars without damage and all aid for less experienced and demanding players …

But do not forget those who will buy this game for several regularly play a week for several years without abandon following a fad …

I do not say that we must banish slick tires and aerodynamic drag! I said it’ll be very interesting open to the public custom multiplayer (friend list + unknown players) you can put a “ON / OFF” to different tires and aero.
So everything will be played on the wheel alignment and steering without giving any advantage to any player in this mode (I repeat: custom online multiplayer open to the public for the public !!! No multiplayer as current Forza 5).

Same thing for the choice of transmission. To prohibit / allow RWD / FWD / AWD each independently of the other.

exemple: Multiplayer personalized public:

Laguna Seca Raceway
10 laps
class C
FWD and RWD (AWD unauthorized / possibility of authorized by the host)
Sport stock tires (semi race and unauthorized race / possibility of authorized by the host)
Downforce OFF (possibility of authorized by the host)
ABS on
ESP off
TCS off
Manual and automatic gearbox
AutoClutch on or off

the goal is a multiplayer mode that will continue after the hype ( ~ 3-4 months )

Use forzastats.com/ It has a hardcore leaderboard(no assists)

why use forzastats.com ?

must make public the results … It disturbs whom? noobs ? who cares in three weeks they change the game …

Same here. I couldn’t get enough of FH1. I played multiplayer in that for a year straight. FM4 was great too. And FH2 is such a great game it’s a shame they changed the formula. Hopefully they’ll get back to it with FM6.

If they’d just go back to letting players set up public lobbies with the parameters they want then there’d be races that available that fit everyone’s style and preference.

Though FH2 is the better game in general, the multiplayer mixture of FH1 was perfect. I wish they would update FH2 with lobbies and a possibility to choose a class for the game you join. Also I strongly dislike the voice telling you to join a game. Only thing worse is you can’t host a game while some other race is going on. 10 people have to wait endlessly just because 2 people in the game are racing in a class nobody liked to race. And what about some information what people are hosting, besides the class? It always depends on your luck…

Do you remember how you could host long lasting point to point races in FH1? It was amazing. I don’t understand why it isn’t possible in FH2, yet.
I really would like to race on that 20 minute track in the finale of FH2’s singleplayer…
The amount of all these issues makes the FH2 multiplayer disappointing…

I would actually like to see a really expansive single player experience that takes roughly 300 hours to complete fully, and for multiplayer go back to custom public lobbies.

it would be a plus if racing against the AI in multiplayer counted toward the multiplayer achievements as well.

I hear you. Those long races in Horizon were my favorite. I hate that you can’t even race the finale online at all in FH2. And I agree that besides online FH2 is the better game. That just makes it all the more frustrating that we can’t experience online how it should be.

who have other serious ideas ?
