I am very eager to buy this game but Windows Store and UWP are a horror show, making it hard to even download the game and causing horrible performance when it does run.
Sell the game on Steam, you will see a significant increase in sales and players will benefit from a reliable platform to play the game.
I was a huge forza fan back in day but if FM7 remains on your awful store I will never get to enjoy the series again.
I was a big fan of Motorsport 3 on the xbox 360, when I had one. I bought Horizon 3 for pc and was very disappointed. Pretty much threw $60 away. Motorsport 7 has come out for pc and its all buggy and the menus kinda suck and I’m having massive wheel issues, that I get to blame the game on, because it works fine with some other racing games I’ve played. Not sure what UWP is but yeah, Windows Store is pretty crappy. I like to think steam is pretty crappy at times, but Windows Store is far worse. I don’t understand why I had to use the store to get the latest windows update either. Then the Windows Store you get taxed… Essentially the store told me I was buying a $59.99 or $60 game and I paid with PayPal, only later to find out I was charged about $65. Windows Store never disclosed the final sales price to me…
“Trying to compete” HAHAHA!!! Emphasis on “trying.” Seriously… I agree. This will never happen. But hopefully one day they will realize they are no competition to Steam. At the end of the day, what sells is the game; not the platform. I doubt MS will give up though. But who knows… GFWL Was a major flop. Most games ended up on Steam fully unlocked and with no online-only and DRM BS.
