I’ve worked a long time on this tune so I can be more competitive online. Please give me some input and post your lap times on this thread. I’m curious to find out the setups true potential. Thank you
& Enjoy. Oh ya the setup is in my STOREFRONT.
I removed this setup from my storefront. There was only one taker over several days. I’m a little disappointed not in the setup but the lack of attention it got. It’s not about the credits that would come from it but how such quality can be overlooked.
Very few people have an interest in driving that car, and if you remove a setup after only 2 days, it surely won’t get any attention.
hey there, i am interested . can you please put it back on the storefront… i wanna buy it!!!
A lot of people put Tunes on their Storefront with no information of lap times and what tracks the tunes are set for. then they put an asking price of $50,000.
Even if the tunes are FREE, If there is no information, I will not try it.
If you could put this tune back up I will check it out. I actually really like the DBR. I don’t always check this section, so I never saw your thread originally.
Very nice tune Koga! Handles great, nicely planted, and very quick. I would like to be able to set the braking to my liking so I could give it a real workout, but aside from that I was impressed.
Thank you Mako for the positive feedback and glad that you’re enjoying it. I will put up another of the same setup in the storefront if you can tell me how much brake pressure you would like and I’ll label it under your gamer tag.
yeah i also bought the setup . and you got the gear ratios spot on too!!
Thank you for posting your opinion on the thread.
New #3 C5,R setup. Don’t get me wrong, I like the car but the lag in 1st gear is something I can live without. I don’t use the car for this reason. The setup handles great and it’s fast.
If I feel a tune in any class will produce what I deem satisfactory results they will find their way into my STOREFRONT.
I can say that the cars themselves are good, they are however very track dependent. I put a C5.R top 100 on a Sedona layout, as that track suits moderate speed and acceleration with enough downforce to take the fast bits fast enough.
I’ll give your setups a try ![]()
I uploaded a Koenigsegg CCGT tune to my store front. Not for sale, it’s free cause I’m having trouble keeping the car from shifting it’s weight accelerating out of turns and needing brake when I shouldn’t have to. Braking is fine thanks to some very helpful insight.
I recently set a personal best on Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe with the DBR9 tune 03:52.862. It felt pretty good, the cars performance on that circuit I mean.
Hope you like the F40 tune. I’ve been in love with the Ferrari for a ever since I was little “70s and 80s” but for me the game doesn’t do the Ferrari name justice. When you first purchase a any Ferrari it should perform as well as if you were to purchase a new one in real life.
Let me start by saying, I really don’t feel like starting a new thread. I will also continue to post what ever deem acceptable or what I might be having trouble with.
Here we go. I tune a car with Sim steering on. Oh no he’s bringing it up again. What it does is give you a better feeling for how the car reacts to a track. Tell me what you think.
Hey Koga, first off, thanks for the tune bud. Sorry for the grab and go, but I work nights and had to get moving. The only reason I was on is I was doing a race at TORA. I will try the tune out as soon as I can.
As for sim steering, it’s all I ever use. I use a wheel and have tried both and never noticed any difference at all. I know others say there is a difference, and maybe there is, I don’t know, I just know I have never seen any.
Do you use motion effects. The emersion factor is better try it out.
What do you mean? If your talking about the headtracking, I don’t have the Kinects.
No it’s about the motion aspect. If your car hits the piano keys you’ll feel the washboard affect in the controller and you’ll be able to see it on the screen. None of that static camera.
