Launched in 1996, the second-generation Mitsubishi Strada is imported from Thailand and it’s powered only by a 4D56 2.5L 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine mated to either a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed AT. The world market L200 has 2.0L petrol, 2.4L petrol, 3.0L V6 petrol, and 2.8L diesel.
In Japan, the Strada was discontinued in 1999. The Triton replaced it in 2006 and it was shortlived as a JDM while the rest of the world continue with it.
