May Car DLC is it the last!!!

My calculations might be wrong but this is the last officially announced carpark for forza 5

apart from the possibility of a Monza and Nurburg booster packs in the next six months

will we see another 6 carpacks announced and another carpass offer

or even fingers crossed a Porsche pack

only hope i can see is Dan Greenwalt’s interview about big updates to come

cause the Xbox one is a lot easier to update than the 360

I would suggest renaming the thread “May DLC Possibly the last” because nothing with this game as far as DLC goes is set in stone.

It is the last car pack for Car Pass owners and as regular monthly DLC; as for future car packs, it’s pretty much up to Turn 10

Absolutely. Turn 10 Studios has been known for carrying on DLC releases after the Season/Car passes reach the end of their six months.

well Forza 4’s Season Pass stopped at April but it didn’t stop them from releasing 5 more car packs and an expansion pack after it lol

That’s Why its called a "Season Pass " and not a “Series Pass”, There will be more after the Season Finally.

x2

Every recent Forza has gone past the initial 6 DLC

Except Horizon, with the exception of the Rally Pack, and the 1000 Club which was free.

EDIT: I’m not sure what will end up happening to FM5. Pretty sure there was an article before the game’s launch that was Dan saying “We can do 10 cars per pack for 12 months” or something to that tune.

Actually, the pass for Forza Motorsport 5 is known as a ‘Car Pass’ - just to be precise.

To be fair. With Forza 4 after the car pass ended, the fallowing car packs ended up being their best.

That’s because T10 loves milking DLC and releasing games with half of the content it should be released with. I’m expecting FM6 to have 1 track, 3 cars and only be able to race 3 laps, every lap after that will cost $1.99 and to unlock tracks/cars you have to spend another $10 per car/track. The $1.99 fee for extra laps after 3 still applies.

Dude, you should see the cash ppl drop on games like “World of Tanks”. Forza’s a damn bargain. The REAL point is this: If either game brings you genuine entertainment, it’s money well spent.

You may just be trolling but I’m gonna bite. Why even play the game if that’s how you feel? Your comments are so absurdly ignorant that I think you may be being sarcastic but I somehow doubt it. I think for the most part we can all understand that Turn10 don’t like doing a “Polyphony” (re-using cars and track assets from 2004 in a 2014 game) and have had to re-master and in many cases re-create all of the content in Forza 5. It takes a shit long time to do the work they have. And to even have ready what they did for the X1 launch is pretty amazing. I can’t believe that you honestly think that they had all of the current content ready in November but they just decided to hold it back so they could charge for it after? I do believe some of the content was ready but didn’t make it in before the disc went “gold”. But if you do think that is what they did, hold back 6 months worth of DLC just to “milk” us then I think you are being quite ridiculous. They still would have created content in the time after launch and still charged us the same price for the DLC. But you think they chose to release the game without an additional 70+ cars and 2 extra tracks, even though they had them ready to go, just to “milk” us??? That is a foolish opinion… but you are entitled to it.

You are an inane fanboy with no sense of humor or perspective.

Also, I owned the season pass for Forza 4 just the same as I own this season pass. The next Forza game will not come out in November, it might come out next November. Remember; these games have consistently come out in two year intervals. Forza 2 (2007) Forza 3 (2009) Forza 4 (2011) Forza 5 (2013). I firmly believe, based on the fact that this game has had a far greater amount of content released than previous games, that they will continue with DLC packs up until shortly before the next games release and I would not be surprised to see another “Season Pass” type deal. Also we are all crossing our fingers for The 'Ring. We cannot forget that there was some serious mention of bringing that into this game.

So because his OPINION is different from YOUR OPINION, he’s a ‘inane fanboy’? That’s just a bit ridiculous. Also, no not all of ‘us’ are wishing for that. So don’t say ‘all of us’ when only I speak for myself, others speak for themselves.

Let’s keep the drama to a minimum shall we?

I don’t want to stray too far off topic but not all of us are. I won’t complain if it arrives but I would prefer something else but won’t wishlist this thread with my desires.

It was a somewhat serious, yet sarcastic post, meant to be taken with a grain of salt.

I’ve been a fan of the Forza series since the very first, I was a die hard Gran Turismo fan so it took a little time to convince me but after that I have purchased and enjoyed every Forza game besides Horizon as I’m not interested in that type of racing. However, now that we’re on the fifth installment with very little progress with regards to content and career mode, I am a little annoyed. I’m annoyed at the amount of DLC, I’m annoyed by the lack of tracks, I’m annoyed that they rushed this game so it could be a launch title and I’m annoyed that each game since the third seems to be more focused on how much money T10 can make instead of how they can make it a better game. Besides a new UI, pretty new reflections and a barely noticeable updated tire model, what have they done to make the game better? Surely it can’t be the fact we still do not have the market, or the fact they released DLC that was already paid for in the last game and basically made the season pass pointless and a waste of money.

I fully understand the work that goes into “modding”, which is essentially what they did when bringing the cars from FM4 to FM5, as I’ve messed around with modding in sims like rFactor. In my opinion, their time would have been better spent trying to bring in cars we don’t currently have. Like new racecars, for example, instead of some stupid van. The lack of GT racecars is disappointing, and if they released a few more of those in the car packs I would be much happier, but they haven’t. Why did I buy the game? Well, if my post up until now wasn’t clear enough, I am a fan of racing and a fan of Forza. Not everyone needs to be as complacent with T10s work as you and a few others seem to be, I personally would rather people voice their concerns instead of just accepting what is handed to them.

I hope for Forza 6 they really up their game and actually make an effort to make the game better, there are a few new racing games coming to the peasantbox1 so we will now have options. I’ve been a long time alpha/beta tester for pCARS, which I think will give Forza some much needed competition.

Cynical much? Glass half empty?

Seems more like cynical humour than being serious.

HAHAHHAHAHA, this is hilarious!
