Hey Guys, Like many of you I have several or many tunes for various cars. Some are differentiated by drive-type, some by grip verse speed, others by Class. In other words I might have 3 or 4 tunes for a car in one class and several more tunes for the same vehicle in the higher PI classes. Don’t think I’m “looney-tune” crazy, some cars require only 1 or 2 saved tunes. The problem I have is that I maxed out my saved tunes about a month or so ago. Since, I have spent HOURS deleting tunes that were not wholly necessary or are rarely used.
If the game (F6) allows you to buy 300+ cars - WHY in the world would Turn 10 limit the available number of (saved) tune slots to 500 (i read elsewhere in these forums that the tune allocation is 500)? We need another UPDATE to INCREASE the number of slots available to save TUNES.
The number of available “saves” for tunes is to low. The allocation for “Save” slots should be 1,000 or even 2,000. PLEASE ADDRESS ASAP.
All Comments Welcome…
I agree. I cant stand how the entire file system has changed, completely. We get credits for each download, like and use for paints and tunes. The only way to see what people are downloading, liking and using is to keep physical track of all this on your own and count the diffence. And with tunes you have to be in that specific car. The whole system is cumbersome and irritating.
it is a pain,my awnser to the problem was to set up a 2nd tag to share tunes on,with gold sharing its quite easy and costs nothing. but takes awhile to build credits on a new profile.
That’s not a bad idea really. If anything build and test on the spare profile and use only the good tunes on the main profile. Might have to look into that. Gifting would make things so much easier…and online private lobby tuning…clubs…aaah the good ol’ days.
I totally agree. I have already maxed the tunes out several times and had to go back in clean out some tunes I don’t use anymore. I don’t know why the limit is so low. I just started tuning this forza and realized what a pain this is. I also agree they should bring back gifting, clubs, etc. I really miss some of those features.
I think t10 can’t do much about it. I know Raceboy77 was trying to work with T10 to get more slots. It did go from 300 to 500 atleast.
I think they need to get rid of the need to be in the car to manage files. This what make it a pain the … In F5 I had no idea what half my tunes were. It to took hours to find tunes I can get rid of.
This is reason I run another profile. My main profile garage is a mess with a ton of half build cars and bases tunes failures.
That’s what my garage is like too! And yep, whenever I want to try to figure out what tunes people had downloaded or used I have to commit at least 30 min to get into every car, then check tunes. It would be nice to weed out the project cars vs real, finished race ready tunes.
I put it on a wishlist for FH3, they could do it in motorsport aswell, but if they gave us a physical garage, have a space for our top 10-20 cars. Think GTA V-ish with touches of NFL 2K5. Remember that? You had your apartment and as you locked achievement you unlocked stuff to put in your apt. So with forza, as you get milestones, affinity and achievements you get trophies or banners to put in your garage, unlock spaces or some other stuff.
I know that ended up off subject, sorry. I thought that 4, along with just about everything else about 4, had the files down pat. You could sort, have favorites (maybe that was 3) but it was so easy to find exactly what you wanted when you wanted. The storefront, in one form or another needs to come back.
