No way its legit. I think I have something like 1225 hours driven but 3141 hours spent in the game. I still have 400 levels before I get my 10th star. Completely maxed with 10 stars and 2999 seems impossible as of today
Wait a minute, that doesnāt make any sense. You have 950 hours in the game and youāre still at level 3?! How many hours do you have under āTime Drivenā in stats? Iām at 339 hours and Iām halfway through to prestige level 5 now, how theā¦?
Just had a look, time driven is 353 hours. 185 of that is in online adventures.
Total is 989 hours now.
The thing with the current level system is itās meaningless when people whoāve played for hundreds of hours can look like theyāre ranked in single figures (because they have prestiged and have a miniscule star and number next to their rank) and a standard colour, but someone else can have a big number and gold. Which looks better, 500 and gold, or 3 and red (or whatever) and a little star and a tiny 5?
The prestige system in CoD worked because it gave you a unique icon for each level. In Forza you get nothing, and yet the prestige is forced whereas in CoD it was optional.
Yeah it takes too long imo - people like us who have played the game way more than most people will ever play it, should be closing in on the top levels by now.
I realise PG wanted to promote longevity by giving people something to aim for but I think they got a bit carried away and underestimated how long it would take.
Watching Mixer streams helps with the levelling and actually playing the game on stream levels you up faster but Iām not sure how much. So a streamer who plays the game on mixer could be way ahead of regular players.
Thats why iām way ahead of regular players. I stream the game every now and then but its been a month or 2 since Iāve done that. I probably should have my 10th star by now but its comingā¦soon
I just played some unranked team adventure for about half an hour and got 25k influence for my trouble.
You could get this in a couple of minutes just by buying the Porsche 911 and using skill points to get the perks a few times (also making more money in the process than I got in the races).
It is strange that the game doesnāt reward you more for actually racing.
It is also a shame that progress is artificially limited unless you use Mixer, due to Microsoftās desire to promote their unloved service.
It took me just over 2000 hours to get to prestige 10 level 2999 this is the max rank.I currently am at 2328 hours and 16 minutes.it is a grind for sure I did 50 laps of Goliath for days my most amount of laps was 105 on rivals took around 18 hours.I used the influence boost cars they are the fastest ways to level up I have almost 3000 races.Take care and all the best to all adi.
The quickest way Iāve come across to level up is to buy the Ariel Nomad for 93,000 CR and you can then get 10,500 influence for 3 skill points.
This is the most cost-effective - there are cars with 15,000 influence in the perks but for a lot more skill points which are more precious than money when youāve got hundreds of millions of CR already.
Still, to grind this way would take a very, very long time.
Also occasionally you will win a car in a wheelspin with 3000+ influence but it isnāt worth using cars which only give 1000 or 2000 for 1 point.
Iām wondering if there is a quicker way? Is there a way to earn more influence faster by racing? Or is there a better car to buy with more influence vs skill points?
Running 5 Lap Goliath on Unbeatable with assists off Zonda FE with Influence boost Perk followed by your Nomad tip is working for meā¦ Buy the cars in each of the colour combos then apply the 3 x 1pt perks before removing them from the garageā¦
How much influence do you get for doing that race? Is it any quicker than buying the Nomad?
Using a car like the Hoonigan RS200 you can earn 10 skill points in say 5 mins. You will also earn around 4,000 influence for getting a big skill chain. Then a few mins to buy 3 Nomads and youāre talking ~35,000 influence every 8 mins. I think this is typically a lot more than youād get for 8 mins of racing. (Which is wrong because the game should reward that more, you would think.)
Just did a round of FFA (cross country, 5 races) and got 23k influence including the 5k bonus for winning. I didnāt time it but probably 15-20 mins.
And another round of FFA, this time road racing, 3 races and got the same 23k for winning. Maybe 10 mins with the loading between races. I guess freeroam rush doesnāt give influence.
edit - just noticed there is a cheaper car than the Nomad with the same perks, the 2013 Audi RS 4 Avant which is 83,000 CR.
Try mine if you like 5 and 6 lap version summer morning - you do get the occasional showerā¦ I have a X999 Tune for the Zonda FE that laps in 08:16:563 thatās fairly easy to get aroundā¦ (I took 20 secs a lap of my old tune last night with the tweaks in the new oneā¦
I made my own in the endā¦ ā3 Lap Goliath No Cheatsāā¦ Codeā¦ 425 489 500
I managed to also get the Ai to act more like real people by using my own racing linesā¦ it seems to have helped them get round the track on Unbeatable. Now you get 3 laps where the Ai keep up with you, and do some interesting thingsā¦ good for videos.
So I tested that 3 lap Goliath on Skill points, and what I found for my own driving is thisā¦
The Hoonigan RS 200 didnāt build up skill points for me, and I found it hard to drive fast as it is too fast.
The BMW M6 FE was OK, but not the best.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia FE is the best as it build up fast just from speed, and nothing else.
These were all S2 tunes.
Also did you know that there is an award for doing a 3 lap Goliath with an FE car? There is!!!
Havenāt got that one but try it and get back to us
The Hoonigan has the 3x faster skill multiplier perk and goes up to 7, or more with the skill song perk (but I never use the radio).
I actually just timed it, it only takes about 2 mins to get 10 skill points (71500 x 7). I just go by the wind turbines and itās easy to get drifts, wreckage, air and kangaroo skills aplenty.
For āGrindingā skill points: I use the Aston Martin Vulcan FE with Maxed Out Skill Points, X-Class. (You can also use the Pagani Zonda FE, Maxed Skill Points, but I believe this one only maxes out at S2-Class which makes the race a bit longer.)
I created a circuit race starting at the bottom of the Highway, going up to the top round-about and returning back down. To close the circuit, you do have to go on the grass, but that just ends up messing with the Drivatars so itās a good thing.
One lap in the Vulcan takes about 3:30-3:40 to completeā¦ you can earn about 15 skill points per lap; no need to drift or crash into stuffā¦ just clean racing gets the points. (Clean Racing Skill goes up to 6,000).
I have created a route with 5 laps which will give me ~70 Skill points, ~250,000 CR, and ~4 Wheel Spinsā¦ all in just over 18 minutes. (Difficulty Level at 100%).
