I have the same problem, basically every time we try connect to horizon life that same alert comes up, I’m not sure if it’s the same for him but the alert for me will also just randomly come up on my screen, also we are both on ps5 so that link doesn’t have a suggestion for it

A: Yes, in addition to a PSN account you’ll need to link to a Microsoft account in order to play Forza Horizon 5 on PS5. This process begins the first time you start up the game on your console.
Q: How do I link my Microsoft account to my PlayStation Network account?

Hey so. Im having the bug when i click on horizon life. then it just puts me to the main screen where i can drive with my car. If i try to find a convoy it says it didnt find it and if i try to make one it says error check ur connection. pls help

Hi, I have exactly the same problem where I can’t join online or create a convoy I get the same message every time and it won’t stop either. Can’t invite people or join them it says join horizon life first and when I try it says matchmaking was cancelled.

Hello I’m getting the same exact problem as everyone else it’s not about joining certain things it won’t even let me connect to a online server in free Rome and when I come to terms with that playing solo offline it constantly pops up and won’t go away like it’s still tryna connect
Also for the people having the same problem do you guys own Forza on Xbox with the same or diff Microsoft account that you use on ps5 in my case I own it on Xbox and use a completely different Microsoft account that’s linked to my ps5 to prevent any problems

Same issue. Haven’t found a fix. Also another issue, I am level 99 with the story completed and have not yet unlocked forza live or social.

Hi everyone,
I’m constantly experiencing problems, mainly with online services. I can’t play Horizon Open because I keep getting disconnected, and I often have trouble connecting to Horizon Live. Also, loading screens for Car Collection and switching cars (even at home) take a very long time. Tuning setups from other players also load very slowly.
It’s really frustrating because I can’t enjoy Horizon Open properly and I don’t know what’s causing it. I tried everything on my side. I feel like maybe a patch is needed, because it seems like a server or connection issue, maybe between Microsoft and PlayStation.
Is anyone else having these problems too?
What family settings
Can someone please try and find a fix? I’ve payed $100 for early access and I can’t even play online. Is Microsoft going to fix it or are they just sitting back and watching?

Same Problem here…I also paid fug*g 100€ für this diseaster! I constantly have the error on my old a$ screen and I can’t see anybody else like what the fux I’m paying 100€ for a game that only works half a part! Fix this or give me my money back
I fixed the issue.
Go to this page (make sure you’re signed into your account): Xbox Official Site: Consoles, Games and Community | Xbox
Then go to “Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online Safety”.
Click “Allow” for all the options. Once you do this, press the green “submit” button at the bottom of the page.
This is the source of the issue. In my case, i actually couldn’t change any of the settings, as they were all greyed out due to my account linked to forza being a child account. I had to go chat to microsoft support and explain the situation before they provided the solution. If the options on the privacy and safety page are greyed out for you do the following:
if you go to microsoft family, you must remove your account (the one linked with forza) from it. To do so, you must login with the main account (the organizer) according to microsoft family.
A cause to this issue is if your microsoft account linked with your PSN is a child’s account (<18 yrs), so you need to change the date of birth, if your accounts birthday is <18, you must change it. Login with your organizer account and then go to microsoft family. Click the 3 dots on your other account (the one linked with forza) and press manage consent (or manage permissions) whichever one it is, then you will be given a couple prompts (this is so you can essentially unlock the child account so they can use xbox with less restrictions), click through them and then go to your account information and change your date of birth.
Once you change the date of birth on your forza account, while logged in with your organizer account, remove the forza account from the family by clicking the 3 dots and choosing the relevant options.
Then re-invite your forza account back to the microsoft family. Make sure you give them the “Member” role. then click on the next few prompts if there are any ensuring you allow this account to make its own decisions. Anyways when you go back to the Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online Safety settings on the microsoft settings page, you should be able to now select “Allow” on everything.
Hope this helps, and sorry that i may have left out some details/not made much sense, this is all i can remember. If it is still confusing for you, i recommend contacting xbox live chat support. This is how i solved the issue.

DO THIS METHOD IT JUST WORKED FOR ME
THE PROBLEM IS
Everyone problem is the Microsoft account we all used is old and connected to a parent account who 9/10 has our account limited by family online safeties (his post explains more above in detail) and due to the family restriction it doesn’t let us connect to any online Microsoft game no matter what not even patchable its a family account Microsoft problem once you do that you don’t have to rejoin the family just turn on all the setting in his tutorial and reload the game in and it will work. I was having the same problem forza 5 devs or Microsoft devs cannot fix this it’s a Microsoft parenting problem
