I’m not sure if my opinion or feedback about multiplayer here is correct. If not, please move the post to the correct place in the FM forum.
Thanks.
This post is an expression of my opinion and I think considering it will help all gamers out there have a better gaming experience.
I often play multiplayer and find myself unnecessarily restricted by the activities on offer. It’s clear to me that Turn10 wants to make certain vehicles/series more prominent, but in my opinion that doesn’t happen. the intention of the players is too short.
I would like to demonstrate this through the multiplayer lobbies available this evening.
A) Beginner area
I can’t really drive in the “Qualifier Series” because, on the one hand, I can only drive the Civic, which I already have at level 50, and on the other hand, the challenge here is generally very low.
B) Specification events
There is more choice here, but only at first impression. The Early Factory Series force the use of an R car. If you don’t like these difficult-to-handle cars, this option is moot.
The “BMW M3 Series” is new today and a very welcome change for fans of the lower performance classes. Very good.
The “Touring Car Series” is basically the best option for me, because here you can control easy-to-handle mid-range racing cars, which is very possible with the pad.
However, you have a maximum of 2 routes to choose from, often only the one active.
The “Forza GT Series” forces significantly faster cars again and therefore doesn’t offer a useful option
C) Open events
Until yesterday there were only 2 options available, both of which required performance class P, which is simply very difficult to play with the gamepad. Both options were therefore invalid.
In short, for pad drivers like me, there are also options for medium performance classes, but there are usually only 1 or 2 routes to choose from.
I would like to see a lot more options here. Why can’t there be 3-4 different races in the A class and also some for e.g. C?
Forza Motorsport has to contend with various problems and demands a lot of tolerance and resistance to frustration from current players. In my opinion, Turn10 could simply improve the player experience with more variety and choice in multiplayer.
Overall, I think the multiplayer part, which is the core of Forza, is insufficiently implemented and artificially limited. With more choice, every player could find their preferred class and suitable route.
I hope that this feedback will be incorporated into the future design of Forza Motorosport’s multiplayer.
So long …
