So the other night I was trying to back up my unicorn cars by moving my game save to my hdd plugged into my 360. Everything seemed to work until just now when I tried to play and everything is gone! Anyway to recover my game save? Are my unicorn cars lost or will they still be available after I start a new game save?
Backing up?? moving your game save to another device is not backing up, copying is, and this would result in a tampered gamesave. . Maybe making sure all FM4 files are in the same place? Moving the save file back on to the 360 Hard drive. If you start a new game unicorns are lost.
You have that backwards. You can “move” your files from place to place, but you CANNOT “copy” them. Copying files in Forza will trigger the anti-cheat mechanism.
I think you have to tell the game that your HDD is now the gamesave device, otherwise it will continue to look for them on the 360.
