Not to long ago my online level reset from gold level 50 to yellow level 1 and my car club vanished along side all of the cars i placed in the garage. I was kind of confused but eventually it fixed itself. My level came back and my club came back but i had to upload every last car to the garage again (took a while). Now the pictures iv taken and uploaded to show the designs iv created in the forum have vanished (not all but most) and now i have an odd looking Sellers page.
Can anyone explain whats going on this time or will everything just pop back up again? This is getting tedious…
People need to view your photos - it isn’t the storefront that is inactive, it id the individual photo not getting any views within 30 days of being put up on the storefront. There are parts of the forums where you can advertise your pics.
…Provided those uploaded photos you have taken on Horizon get viewed once within 30 days. If not they will be deleted. See my previous post for a work around.
You shouldn’t be linking to your gallery anyway - use an external site like Flickr. Save the image from your gallery, upload to “site of choice” then use that link for your advertising in posts.
It prevents the exact issue you have had for a start.
And it adds to the server load (which the Forza games struggle with at times as it is, without people viewing your forum posts adding to the load - it is just about management and T10 asks that we don’t link to the gallery just for management purposes.
Do what most people do - upload to gallery ingame, download to PC and save. Then you can use an image service and if there is an issue the image is on your PC.
Sure, I can understand that… but where might i find this infomation stating “T10 asks that we don’t link to the gallery just for management purposes”? Id like to avoid any issues like these in the future.
Is there anyone out there who plays Horizon to view peoples gallerys… nope. I never look at any one persons gallery but i do like to browse the forum on the sellers market place, the paint booths and the media center. Thats the only way i view peoples designs or in-game on the storefront. Hell, everyone i know works the same way i do. I think deleting the images because the image hasnt been clicked on and actually viewed within 30 days is stupid.
So now im going to have to re-upload the shots to my gallery, save them to my computer only to upload the images to another image hosting site just so i can show images of my designs in the sellers market place section of the forum just incase my images are not viewed and get deleted…
