Locked Downloaded Designs

Hi all, I found a few cool Car Designs in the Storefront and downloaded them, purchasing with a bunch of CRs. However they show as locked and wondering HOW do I use these designs? I thought maybe I didn’t have the right car to apply it against. However I got in my Ferrari and tried to load it and it shows locked. I have options for rate, rename, upload, etc but I can’t figure out HOW to load the design and use it? Can someone please point me towards a blog or FAQ on how to use these “purchased” car designs.

BTW - Had this game since 2012 and first time I’ve played the game. IT IS AWESOME, love the retro music and BLOWS Need for Speed: Rivals away. I returned NfS: Rivals an sticking with this game.

PMs - Any change of getting an updated version of this game for either XBox 360 or XB1? I’m not buying the $400 Ferrari wheel for XB1, but would DEFINITELY buy an updated HD version of Forza Horizons for 360…update dem graphics yo :slight_smile:

Anyway, anyone have a pointer on how to either properly pay or download and load these files? I’m willing to pay for them, just don’t know how to use them, sorry for the stupid.newbie question :frowning:

Get in the car the design was made for and go to the paint booth and apply designs from there. The design will be for a specific car and cannot be used on anything else.

Wouldn’t hold my breath on an update - unless Horizon 2 counts and even that is still unconfirmed.

the “Locked” simply means you can’t edit the design, (Thus preventing you from stealing someone elses design and re-selling it yourself) It doesn’t mean the design itself is unusable. Hope this helps
