I think a glaring omission has to be the lack of metallic colours (other than the “special” ones like chrome or aluminium). Or am I just being stupid in not finding them?
If there are metallic colours in Forza 5 other than the manufacturer ones and a few select special effects paints please tell me!
A little stupid. Look at the green two-tone Special Colour. As well as the others to the left of that one.
Correct, you can make metallic base Colors but you can not make metallic vinyl groups … I’ll be happy with the same FM5 paint system, I just hope that the mapping of the cars are better.

I’m sure the livery editor will be the same as in FM 5. The game is basically FM 5 with added content.
Where do people keep getting this is forza 5 with added content? I keep reading this like it’s a dlc pack or something.
I just don’t see it here, Isee it on other sites, boards too. Just curious why so many seem to think it’s forza 5 with a coat of paint on it.
Based on all the info that has been presented it is what it really appears to be. I mean, the amount of stuff added is certainly quite significant and that in itself corrects the majority of FM5’s short comings.
Everyone might also just be setting their expectations low. Better to have low expectations that are exceeded than high expectations and be let down.

After playing through the demo and choosing a paint for my car that wasnt any of the pre made ones, I noticed theve added a few new paints to the special color list. Like “Real Camo” which is like True Leaf camo.
A few new metals like zinc, galvanized steel, ect.
Also if you go into rivals and take the corvette on Sebring there is a racing livery for it in the manufacture paints.
