Also, side note, but there totally should be a McLaren Prost.
I also tried painting the C7.R, but then immediately noticed it’s just bugged. I mean, look at those perfectly straight lines…
Hi @AdmPatate. Please report it immediately.
I already did, though I doubt it’ll get fixed ever.
Ok. Good.
I’m unable to take photos because everytime I change values (Aperture, Shutter Speed) the camera loses focus (soft focus), only if I take very close up shots then I can take photos. let’s say, I close up and then focus, it works, but once I zoom out or change camera angle, the game loses its focus. It’s so frustrating.
If I press X to reset camera settings, only then the photomode focuses, but then I want to change values, it loses focus again. P A T H E T I C
Hi @ANM_Sprinter . After you changed the settings, re focus again. (Do not hide your UI)
Have you noticed you can press X for pay respects doubt focus?
From there, if you move the camera or zoom in, you’ll have to refocus. If you just rotate (on any axis) the camera, it should remain focused on the object, allowing you to reframe.
Note that the game focuses at the point you are aiming at when you press the button, so you can focus at the front of a car, or the back (which may or may not be noticeable based on effect settings), but you can still reframe your shot (as long as you don’t move or zoom, but you can still rotate).
So you’re complaining that the camera…
Checks notes
…operates like a camera in real life. Got it.
having this problem too; however, even when I press the focus key the camera doesn’t focus on the car. The focus is fixed on that area, but the car is blurry as if the I have the camera set to panning. Switching the effects to tracking doesn’t fix the issue. So, I am out of the photomode game until this issue is fixed. Heading to the complaint hub.
The out-of-focus blurring effect in this game’s photo mode looks terrible.
It’s noticeably much worse compared to prior installments & compared to Horizon.
It ruins the realistic look that in-game photos used to have.
The only things I see is;
- Wrong panning/tracking option selected
- Too much shutter speed
- Bugged
Tracking or Panning does not matter, as the car won’t focus. I can focus on other subjects (AI vehicles doesn’t focus either). My shutter speed is set to 30-35 at max. But the funny part is, if I reset the camera settings, the shutter speed is set to 100 at default, and that’s when the focus works. If I reduce my SS, the camera won’t focus.
Okay, I made a video with commentary, now you can comprehend the situation:

Oh my God Pooya you beautiful little man, it was indeed the DLSS which was messing up my photo focus. I turned it off and now I can focus. Thank youu
