I will for sure be there for the auction, but if there’s a big timezone difference, buyouts on at least some of the cars will be very nice
As for the hackers, the problem from a selling perspective is not the credits, it’s the fact that most of them are modders too and they just unlock your design and re-sell it, sometimes not even changing it. From a buyers perspective, well, I think the crazy numbers speaks for itself.
And on your question on the starting price - I agree with you 100% that it’s a pain to grind through the low bidding numbers. I’ve seen some of your cars long ago and think with that quality it will serve little purpose starting them low. They sure will end up high anyway. Best of luck with the auction - I’ll be there.

I have borrowed a copy of FM4 and will be putting some cars in the AH tonight or tomorrow night. There will be a mixture of cars including 3 of Timmy Flushes Toilet cars and London calling cars with his permission. I would like to know if people want the cars put up at a starting bid of 1K or to start them at a higher value? as I hate bidding on cars that have a low starting bid or is this what people like? I will post a list up later of what is going in the AH.
I also have another question. I see in another thread with an auction on the forum that has been started to stop the hackers winning the cars. The winning bid was 550 million. Where did these credits come from? Who wants to be a forza millionaire, where did these credits come from? All of these credits came from the same hackers that you are complaining about. If you don’t want people to hack to get credits don’t force the price up by selling cars for obscene amounts. I have seen people from this section of the forums bidding up team mates cars why?

Lee, we’re not stupid, we know a lot of our credits have unfortunately trickled down (up?) from hackers. By taking their credits by legitimate means, we’re able to ensure they don’t run off with all the good AH cars by outbidding them. The majority of any of us bidding on any cars is because we actually want them. Not every club member shares with their entire club. Admittedly some of us will run up a car if the other bidder is rumoured to hack paints or friends with someone who is.
By starting auctions at 1,000 credits, we’re not setting the market high, the hackers are. What Nacho is doing is trying something different. Don’t knock him, just because we all still feel the need to bid stupidly high.

As a member of BIGTIME MUSCLE I myself have to bid on a Club Members car if I want it. Not everyone in the club wants to deal with Gifting a Design and if we all did a 1k buyout for every car we made for every member of the club who wanted it that would just be incredibly time consuming. None of us run up each others cars contrary to the belief of a few random gamers via XBL messages, which we kindly respond to them explaining the truth. I’ve backed off many cars just to let someone else have a chance to enjoy a cool design. I love to collect beautiful cars, preferably ones I can use but I try to not be greedy about it which admitidly is hard to do at times when someone who doesn’t always Auction their Artwork decides to have an Auction. I hope my addition to this thread doesn’t sound gruff, I just hope that others will read it and understand why things are the way they are.
On a separate note, I have heard great things about you and your work and seen some of it as well and I will certainly be on the look out for your Auctions.

I have decided to put my paints in my SF as i don’t like bidding on cars myself. If cars are being unlocked from the AH it’s a complete waste of every ones time to bid or for me to build cars. Can anyone tell me if AH unlocking is happening? I will not be putting Timmys cars in my SF.

Unlocking can happen store front or auction house but me and others keep an eye out for these things and then report to Snowowl who takes care of them fairly fast.

Happened to me about 4 months ago and getting pleas from same for unlocks ever since. Probably why I hate those modindians with a passion.
