Leagues & Rewards April 21 - May 19 "Storming Motors" Season

Multiplayer Leagues: “Storming Motors” Season

Daily Rewards: The daily period typically resets at 5pm Pacific. Your first race of the day earns a 20,000 CR bonus, and first podium finish of the day earns 50,000 CR. You’ll also earn CR for increasing your ranking (the number in the upper right corner of the menu, based on points earned or lost from each race).

Series Rewards: Complete a race in any of the events in a series, then return to the menu after the series has ended (5pm Saturdays) to collect the reward. A pop up notice indicates the car will be delivered directly to your garage (or Driver Gear to your menu). Be sure you have fewer than 900 cars in your garage to collect the new one.

Is that the Honda Fit or another Type-R? I can’t tell.

As NightDriver above me posted, it’s the EP3 Civic Type-R (2004), the same one that won a Twitter SD poll a while back.

Uninteresting prizes this time around. I’ll get the Charger for the sake of getting it, but the Civic has been added to the Specialty Dealer rotation (if the repeat of the Huayra is any indication) and the FE car is just not a cool one.

YESSSSSSS! The 2012 Charger SRT. This is one I have very much been looking forward to.

Same! I’m so down for the Charger. Hopefully I don’t miss it this time like I did with the 2012 Challenger, someone remind me to do a race!

The drift events in Leagues seem pretty neat too. Hopefully my internet can keep it together for longer than 5 minutes so I can give it a go.

They added drift events to leagues this time around as well.

That could actually be fun, at least in the higher Bands where people may give each other enough space to not impede their own runs.

I may give it a go, just to see what cars and tunes people are using. It’s fun to slide a car around sometimes.

‘Crashed Dummy’ and ‘Your Majesty’ gear?

Hahaha this is one of the first times I’ll be seeking the driver gear more than a car, don’t like this model of Dodge Charger.

Still happy to see it released, though.

Now I’m not calling you lazy, rather I am admitting that I am. I would always cut and paste these posts to a notepad that I keep for easy reference. The pictures do not show the names of the weekly rewards unfortunately.

heh, sorry, just had a bunch to do and didn’t get the full details right away. I’ll update the first post before the season starts tomorrow.

Thanks Max. : )

Formula 70s sim league??? Open wheel for the wreckfest lobby?? Who the hell decides these things?? They really need to lay off the crack

The racecars are usually placed in the Sim divisions. IndyCar was Sim, V8 Supercars was Sim, Forza P1 was Sim, Forza GT was Sim.

In Ghost leagues you race against humans.

The popular divisions in Ghost are usually packed with people. Early Sport Touring and Forza P2 had more than 15 players in each lobby when I tried them.

in ghost league you do not race against humans. you just all happen to be racing the same track in single player mode at the same time. it’s not racing if you dont have to battle for position.

And yet it’s right there in the name “drag racing.” I’m sure there are plenty of Olympians who have won medals in track and field and swimming events who would have something to say about this definition as well. This isn’t the thread for that though, if you want to debate what is true racing take it to the General Automotive forum.

Ghost racing puts everyone on the same clock, no rewinds. If that’s not your thing then there are other contact racing options in leagues for you.
