Leaderboards still not cleared?

We’re aware of the few RX3s that are left and are working on it guys. No ETA but we’ll let you know when we have an update.

Why not just do a 100% leaderboard wipe?

It’s easier for you guys, the people setting legitimate times will be easily able to set similar legitimate times, and you will get an accurate estimate of how many people are playing the game. Those who set glitched times will have to set times that more closely reflect their abilities…

You’re right, a 100% leaderboard wipe would be the easiest thing for us to do. But we try hard to keep all the legitimate hard earned scores up there. Maybe we’re perfectionists… We try to be as fair as we possibly can and show respect for the time and skill you all put into your scores.

We now know the root cause of the scores that are left and are working on a plan to remove those as well. There actually aren’t that many of them but the ones that are left are a bit obvious since they’re at the top of a few boards. We’ll get them soon, we just need a little time to verify our cleanup process and make sure it’s working as it should.

Thanks for the info. I would definitely rather have my times saved than removed but. It is still early in the game and I can easily get close to those same times again if need be, I am sure those glitched RX3s will be wiped soon so that is not an issue.

The thing that I am still wondering about and have saw no mention of thus far is those times that have been set using some sort of mod that allowed a faster lap to be posted and posted clean. I know that there are a few such times at the top of the ovals in X Class and that being the case there are probably more of them in other places, perhaps a lot more of them that I have not noticed and may be hard to detect. They may not even be near the top of the boards but are still invalid times so they need to be deleted.

I have no problem waiting so long as I know it will be done but if there is doubt that they can all be located and removed then the full wipe would make sense and if that is needed the sooner the better before more times are posted.

I agree, its not deep into the games life yet. Just wipe the whole deal.

I’d hope they’d be able to get the wipe done right, though I’d only be slightly annoyed about losing certain times. But no, I’d never bother again to beat Grosjean’s time. Some of us really had to work for some of our times, it’s not done quickly to just set a new one. Naturally, cars you like on tracks you like is a non-issue.

Agreed, I might be better to just clear all times…

Cant wait to actually be able to use the full game again, thanks

I’m quite happy with them just wiping the glitched times myself, I’ve put a reasonable amount of time in to some of the rivals boards - which I would be sad to see go to waste.

Thanks for the update Voodoo.

or braking and grip boosts.

Dont understand this Kind of communication from Turn10.
Before wiping racing for good times makes no sense.

well if your not doing a 100% wipe I hope you can tell and wipe all times done in free play.

Just DO IT

I think its nice to see an official response from Turn 10 Staff.

It puts minds at rest knowing they are aware of situations and are working on the fix.

For me, wiping the glicthed cars from leaderboards is a good start in the right direction. I think if they had performed a full leaderboard wipe, a lot of people would be annoyed.

It is also good to know that Turn 10 are aware of the RX3 and are working on patching a fix.

All in all, things are moving in the right direction and any fixes to the game which improves the experience for everybody is very much appreciated.

Thanks for the update VoodooUomo.

The RX3 is a leaderboard car on some tracks in C class. Do not confuse these for glitch tunes. They shouldn’t be drivable but somewhat are.

The RX3 was glitched until the update of the 6th October, No matter what the build, it altered the speed dramatically. Any times posted on the Leaderboards should be wiped.

Checked the leaderboard wipe in D-Class… Still some older tunes with minicooper and RX3 are in the leaderboards, seconds in front… still not finally cleared.

T10 have located the issue and are currently working on a fix for the remaining RX3 cars. Any times posted after the 6th October should be legitimate
