Hi guys and gals, when i drive down the big straight on old Le Mans the screen freezes for a split second half way down. Has anyone else had this? It started after recent xbox/forza update, not sure which one is to blame ( if any ) as both updates were recieved at the same time. Thanks all

I’m getting that on all the tracks from time to time when I run rivals. I just assumed it was my wifi which isn’t all that great. What are you in when it happens? Career mode, free play, rivals, lobby racing?

Hi Lou, I’ve only been on that track in a private lobby since the update, I’ll give rivals a go later an see if it does it there too. It’s usually me and a friend vs the max amount of AI in a lobby, it cant be internet connection because my friend experiences it at the same time as me, my internet speed is over 60 mb/s so i dont think its that

Yes iv come across that ever since the update so your not alone, I have very good internet service so I know it’s not that…to our luck it’s not a pause right at the bend.

Yep, happened to me yesterday running rivals. (Thought maybe the Hennessey was just too dang fast for the x1…lol)

I get those on most tracks in various modes, got 'em before the update and after. Typically less than 1/5 sec - just enough to notice, not enough to disrupt. I also get “restarted” in multiplayer lobby (goes from preparing the race to Forza start screen, as though I’d just started) about 1 race in 50 or so.

TBH it hasn’t been enough of a distraction for me to mention before. I miss one multiplayer race, and am back before the intermission is up for the next one.

You could try checking the temp and circulation around your XB1. Mine is usually pretty warm when this is happening.

Hi bob, I’ve never had this before on any track, also it happens every time i play that track, thats why i asked if anyone else had experienced it. I’ve raced on that track a lot and I’ve never had any problems up until the xbox/forza update, my friend will also experience it at the same time as me too

I have the digital version of the game by the way :wink:

I just had this happen today in a sclass hopper. It didn’t really affect the race but it is slightly annoying.
