Le Mans Game Freeze

This last week i’ve noticed at the end of long straight (La Sartha track) at the point you have to brake heavily for the tight right corner, i’ve been getting game freeze at the exact point you start braking for this corner, a friend of mine also experienced same issue so it’s not just my xbox. It couldnt be on a worse part of the track to happen as the freeze really messes up the braking and often end up over shooting that corner.

Has anyone else noticed this recently?

I’ve been using the IndyCar (as i’ve been practising for an Indy race so i’ve not tried it with any other car this last week).

I have that happen at a couple points on the Le Mans track, all variations of it.

I have had it on several of the tracks since I got the game. Some tracks, like LeMans and Sebring are far worse than others. It would be nice if that issue would be addressed. This is yet another source of disappointment for me with this title.

This occurs to me during career mode and online racing.

Yes, I get a frame skip about 66% of the time passing that point and the time it freezes I actually loose that time, the car does not move and I loose time.

F1 games on the 360 it happens all the time (on average once a race as in a 50% race) but until last week ive not had that issue on Forza 5 and i’ve only noticed it on Le Mans.
Maybe it’s because at that point the Indy car is going at 220mph then it’s a sudden heavy braking section, so maybe that is tripping the game up a bit, as i’ve not noticed it on slower classes before.

I must admit since last week i’ve only been using Indy Cars on Le Mans so I dont know if slower cars are doing that too.

But a few months ago when I was hot lapping the F1 car round there, I never got any freezing. And at that point the F1 is going at 200mph (so a little slower) but the braking is more sudden than the Indy, so you would think that would make it freeze too (if it was a speed of the car related issue).

In an S class series I was running a couple of months ago, for the week of practise and race itself I never experienced any issues in an S class Zonda.

I used to think it was where it needed to load the next section of track but Nordschleife does not have the same problem.

It does seem to differ depending on the car. I often get it halfway down the straight but I have seen it in the braking section.

yeah good point, if it was a size/loading issue then you would think Nordschleife would be prone to it too, but i’ve done countless amounts of hours on there and in all types of classes and never had any issues on that track.
