lccbb22/Streakshooter's Last Ditch/Last Gen FM4/Horizon (and more) 4/12/15 Looking for Perspective 1

Thought I’d try this again before FM4 gets relegated to the ranks of Classic Forza titles on the forums…

I’ll start with a few shots that have been successful in Turn 10 or Forum comps (podium finish or honorable mention, I can’t always remember).

Here are (too many) shots that have received positive feedback on either the old forums, my storefront, or Flickr - but didn’t win anything or haven’t been entered in any comps (yet?)

Ah! There it is. I was looking for your gallery. Just wasn’t looking at the right place.

It seems I’ve mist some of your shots some how. I’ve just faved a bunch on Flickr.

This one has to be my favorite form your work. Just love everything about it.

And I wanted to say congrats on the first place in the last TMOAP round. You totally schooled us!

Thanks Morc for finding this!

Some really great shots all around. You have definitely masted Horizon, I think the game has some really great lighting and scenery and you showcase it very well!! Keep up the great work!

Thanks Morc for commenting here & in my short lived new-forum Horizon gallery. I appreciate “schooled”, but I’m just glad people voted for my photo that time around (the one you like best is easily my most “liked” Forza photo on Flickr, but underperformed in the GP of the UK, however that was IMO the strongest overall group of photos yet (at least that’s what I have to tell myself).

Thanks swtluu for your generous comment as well, it’s hard to let go of Horizon because I get inspired the same way in the game that I do in real life - when I see beautiful light I just have to take photos. I’ve even shot one car in one location for most of a Horizon day (my Aston DB5 set) just to see all the different ways the light would change the mood.

I’m going to cut my second post down some to make it a little less crazy, anyone know if these forums support spoiler tags?

Added Non-virtual automotive photography to 3rd post.

Morc’s POV comp was a real inspiration for me. I thought if anyone sees this, they might appreciate the chance to follow the whole process of discovering what worked & didn’t when trying to communicate the driver’s perspective. The first thing I did was take the Top Secret S15 to the Alps to try to try for drift shots with the driver looking sideways while going downhill that way. What I got was the feeling of floating in the clouds.

(The first two are warm-ups since I hadn’t used the photomode in a few weeks.)

Comments mean more photos will appear in this gallery!
