When new racetracks are added, they should be laser scanned for higher accuracy
They should scan for major international circuits and when its genuinely reasonable to do so.
But they shouldn’t be hamstring by this requirement.
If a legendary track has been closed a few decades, is no longer around and is unavailable for scanning, then a genuine ‘best guess’ will do.
We don’t really have a confirmation by the developers on this topic, but as far as I know, they should all be laser scanned, it’s just not really clear for many tracks, whether they used the same laser scan data from previous titles or if they rescanned all circuits for this FM game.
I thought they had been scanning real world tracks for the past few forza instalments tbh
I don’t think the tracks are laser scanned.
The Nordschleife or Bathurst, for example, seem very different from ACC where they are laser scanned.
I was sure they was both laser scanned for past forza titles so I don’t see why they wouldn’t be now is all.
