Are there any rewards or additional bonus money for being ladder champion at the end of the week? I may have been my club’s champion week before last. I had to work that evening and did not see if I was champ still.
Near as I can tell, you get a Cr bonus when you reach a new tier, but you only receive bragging rights for being the weekly champion.

Some clubs might do contests and such to see if who can make it into first, but it is all about bragging rights. You do get somewhere in the vicinity of 500.000 - 1.000.000 credits for getting into Tier 1 though so that helps.
Online gameplay also helps you get XP for clubs considerably faster.
What about the icon on the map?
