Koering665 open source muscle car tunes

[Mod Edit - Original version starts - D]

Hey forza fans! I’m fairly new to forza 6, but not new to tuning. I would like to share some open tunes with the forza community :grinning: But first a few thing about my tunes. I don’t tune “leaderboard” cars unless specific requests are made
I only build and tune in d,c,and b class for now.
I tune using a Logitech wheel,and I use no assists,including simulation steering.
c-class muscle cars are my favorite, but feel comfortable tuning anything in the lower classes as mentioned before.
Here are a couple builds to see if you like what I’m sharing

I gave it a try. Nice tune Koering. Not a car that I would normally use at COTA WEST. But it got me 38th in my area. 1:47.4. It’s a blast to drive with the wheel. Ill definitely try another time of yours. What u got coming next?

1:47.9. But I kept messing up thru the esses
Good tune,I love driving the old muscle cars
Is there anything u can do to keep one side from coming off the track as much when I’m going thru the esses I’m probably losing 2 or 3 tenths. I’m ready for more tunes from you dude. Good job

I gave it a try. Ran a 1:48. Good tune. I’m sure I left a few tenths on track. How about a 70 challenger for Bathurst?

I already have a time posted at COTA WEST with my celica but I gave your tune a try Koering and it felt good. Ran a 1:47.5 and I also left a couple tenths on track. Good tune, keep them coming

Good job on the challenger beat my previous time by almost a second 2:25.597.

Good stuff here. I got on best with the Challenger, PB at Bathurst 2:26.087.

Thanks foot. I like the boss302 better except I didn’t like the view you get using the hood cam. It’s like the front of the car sits very high compared to the challenger. But it probably does in real life. Glad to see yoall are liking my tunes. Going to work on one for long beach full. Haven’t decided what car yet. Tried a Dodge Dart and got a decent time but can’t put the v8 in it so don’t know how competitive it will be. Not done working on it yet. If I get it dialed in I’ll definitely share.

The dart should be good if you shift right. It’ll stomp on the v8 swap in straight line. I’ve got one in D class that runs top 50s ad 100s in lobby pretty easily. Nobody uses the car and idk why. It handles way better than it should.

Just brainstorming here, but idk if you’re running enough power for Bathurst. That may be what’s holding them back a bit in lap times. However, the builds you have look pretty well rounded for circuit racing.

I love muscle cars and it’s been a bit since I’ve looked at C class. I’ll try them out. Hopefully I can set some new PBs.

I was just thinking whre to tune the Dart, so i guess Bath will do.

It should say 1969 boss 302. Sorry for the typo

I agree with you 100% Swerve, the Dart does handle way better than the stats show when building it. I’m actually having problems with it being too tight. I like the back end to slide just a little bit because you know what they say "loose is fast ".
As far as my Bathurst tunes,I could give them more hp,but I’m afraid to sacrifice weight reduction and lose acceleration, and a little handling thru the technical part of the circuit. Also I’m not going to gain much pi points by taking away tire upgrades
But it is worth a try. Thanks for the feedback

I think the rear end is why it’s a little tight. Even when you lower it the rear is still pointed way higher than front. The rear end being so high feels like it’s acting as a stabilizer mid corner. I often use this trick for no aero muscle cars so I’m guessing that’s what’s going on here. Maybe lower rear tire width? I know I was running bone stock widths on mine. A little sketchy at times, but when you hit the corner right, it sticks pretty well.

Weight is a weird thing with these cars. I’ve found a few that were as fast or better in the heavier form if they had either roll cage or maxed out rear tire widths. Or add heaviest rims, max weight and some combo of tire width/roll cage. The possibilities can drive you mad. Lmao. To me it’s seems like there is one golden build and like 7 or 8 other builds that are on par with each other.

.
Thanks for sharing these tunes Koering, it;s certainly appreciated! I will be taking them all out for a spin. I had only built up a couple of Muscle cars, yet recently, after a non-aero (A675 Class) hosted by ONR Braveheart, I’ve gained interest in tuning several of them. Now, certainly want to try out, and start with some lower class cars.

I enjoyed reading the several posts on the Dart, will have to check this out. I had built a pretty decent Dart on FM5 which I’ll pull off the garage along with a B600 class tune I have on FM6 to see if I can merge my thoughts for a C-class tune.

@HLR PRKID.
In FM 5 the Dart was a beast at Long Beach, im thinking C class will be a nice build/rune.

Yes, indeed! You also reminded me that I need to run LB since I’ve not done so in awhile…try both.

I am still at work at the moment, but I should have a decent build and tune posted for the Dart in a couple hours.
