I was making a custom blueprint and suddenly the game went “You’re being kicked from this session due to inactivity.” I was still selecting cars. But…apparently selecting cars doesn’t count as an activity. And when that timer hit zero, did it just leave me in the Blueprint menu and let me finish? Nope. It closed the Blueprint menu. But…WHY? Why doesn’t selecting cars count as an activity? That seems counter productive to the whole Blueprint thing. “Yes, create custom Blueprints for events, but be warned, YOU HAVE A TIME LIMIT!” Why?

Same with using the drone to find a barnfind…if your car doesn’t move even if you are actively scooting the drone about you get kicked?!
I have never been kicked for inactivity when using the drone to find a barn find. Never ever.

You know, I was thinking that. “Inactivity” means “you’re car isn’t moving.” Which is…dumb. Can we get that fixed in the October update, please? “Inactivity” should be “you’re not doing anything with your controller.”
See, the problem is, if you’re doing a themed event, like I made a Top Gear themed event and a Grand Tour themed event. And to do that, I need to look up stuff. But, the time it takes to look up stuff AND make the event is too much. which…why have the custom event if you’re NOT going to give players enough time to make creative stuff with it?
And yeah, I’ve been using the drone to find barn finds because…it’s WAY faster, but if you’re going to base the time at how long the car sits still, then it almost defeats the purpose of the drone. I mean, what if someone’s using the drone to explore? (Also, the drone can’t take pictures anymore which is sad.)
ive used the drone for over 10 minutes and never been kicked
ive been in the menus for about 20 minutes not doing anything and never been kicked either
Started playing on pc and have been kicked for inactivity a few times lol…for doing exactly what i did on the xbone
Been Kicked as well while in the menus going through 100+ Wheelspins and a few Supers in the menus while doing a few other things, like looking at the things I won and talking with others in my party.
Was on my PC during this kick.
I have been getting kicked out for inactivity in the middle of doing the trial…happened 3 times just now
I just got kicked out for inactivity while in the middle of a free for all race. Not sure how I could be inactive and in second place. Quite frustrating.
I got kicked out for inactivity just after launching the game.
As I was leaving the garage upon initial launch, I get the kicked for inactivity message. This is what happens when you build a game on a broken foundation. Look over all these recent bugs being talked about. Look at the date of the first post in those threads, 1 or 2 year old problems that were never actually fixed.
As the game nears it’s ultimate death, it’s becoming more and more apparent how little they care about their users base.
This will most likely be the very last Forza title I purchase. I cannot financially support a business that has so little respect for its paying customers.
