Keeping hands on wheel (TX 485) - FFB not working - jitters - tuning/race components

I have a nice cockpit set up for Forza. I have run Forza 6 on the Xbox One and am pleased with the button/control setup that my TX 485 wheel has. I never have to take my hands off the wheel to execute any normal command in the game. I am bemused to discover that the Apex PC implementation does not make it easy to remap commands from the keyboard to the wheel. The “button” labels in the gameplay do not seem to correspond to any documentation for the TX 485 wheel. For the functions listed under the “advanced” wheel settings I have been able to map keys. But the most often-used key would be the “enter” key and there is no option which allows it to be mapped. In order to issue an “enter” command it is necessary to click a button with the mouse (such as when you want to resume from a “pause.” Also, to exit some functions it is necessary to press the “ESC” button on the keyboard. Both these actions necessitate taking your hand from the wheel - a great inconvenience compared to having a wheel button available. And both require running the mouse and keyboard from the PC to the cockpit across the room.

This issue should be corrected in future releases of Apex for the PC. Perhaps an Xbox One release of the game would resolve most of these problems

Also, there is listed a default wheel configuration for the TX 485 wheel, but when selected, Apex issues a message that says this is an illegal mapping - ???
This should obviously be fixed.

Also, I have been unable to activate any FFB on this wheel in spite of having the W10 anniversary update and the latest NVIDIA drivers installed for my 980 graphics card.

The first races ran wonderfully well and the auto dynamics were excellent. Later races became almost unplayable due to jittering, whih made me nauseous.

I also wonder if tuning and component upgrading engine, suspension, and tires are going to be available in later versions.
