Here’s my problem with the pack. This is the third in a row that we’ve had a Holden added, about the sixth Nissan added and fourth GTR, and while the racecars are neat, the lobbies are so broken with crap racers that you can’t really enjoy them other than in hot lapping. The only thing that excites me about the Lykan is the fact it has a RUF motor powering it, so it’ll be the first real chance to hear how Porsche is going to sound when it arrives (something that has been backtracked on more than Bill Clinton’s statements about affairs). There’s still absolutely no movement regarding a car that many people, including myself, want in the game, which is the BMW E60 M5. They have every single iteration of the M5 except this one, yet the E60 is the only one of the bunch to have a motor that won Engine of the Year while being derived from BMWs F1 program. The Spec Mazda is legitimately cool for me as I grew up around similar Formula Fords, but if there’s not much you can do to them, again the only way to enjoy it is hot lapping or see if some friends want to do a Spec Mazda only lobby, because they can’t be used online. I’m very pleased to see new entrants to the series, but when they can’t be enjoyed because of other factors or there are more deserving cars that need to be added first, like the M5 and Pantera, etc., it’s hard to show excitement for it. I’ll still have the pack since I have the Car Pass and I’ll drive all of them, but within a week I start looking to see what’s coming the next month to see if it’ll be a pack that can truly be enjoyed.
I’m not happy with this pack either but it is what it is. All you can do is not give them your money upfront by buying the car pass and get the packs individually only if they appeal to you.
I like the pack, plenty of variety. Why people want a pack full of porsches is beyond me.
I get your reasoning Thezinnmeister and I would like to see the E60 as well. I’m giving some benefit of doubt to Turn 10 in that we do not know the details of the licensing agreements so we do not know if BMW is holding out or some other complication is involved. They could have gotten a better deal to feature it in Gran Turismo for all we know. As for the Holdens, it is kind of nice to see that they have other cars than just the V8 supercars that there are more than enough of. Lobbies being broken are not the fault of the cars but the drivers. Our play styles are obviously different so we have different opinions and that is a good thing, if we all wanted the same thing they could just update the game every year and turn it into Madden and try to promote a change in color palette as a new feature for the year…lol. We come back every two years to see what has changed, what has stayed the same and how we can get the most out of the current version, and then discuss it and that makes Forza the game that it is.
What I can’t figure out is why doesn’t turn 10 just make the car packs with more of a variety. Where is the American production muscle cars?. Were missing so many from F4. It’s not much to ask to include just one such car for each pack.
So sick of seeing the same manufactuers in every pack. T10 can we please get a little more variety

Oh my god, another one of these threads? First and foremost, once again I love the variety of the cars in the pack. In the wishlisty side of things we get a supercar, a Super GT race car, and a LMP prototype. On the offbeat, we have another Aussie muscle car, another classic Japanese car, a one-make formula race car, and a classic German car that was probably built to battle the Beetle.
Porsche is coming. Please be patient.
But we still have the onslaught of those that want an endless barrage of cliche super/hypercars (it’s not that I hate super/hypercars, it’s that I don’t like the needless hype those cars get), every car from FM4 back, and the S14.
As per usual, another thread full of ungrateful people wanting specific cars that weren’t put in, then whinge because their requests were not fulfilled as a priority over the hundreds of others.
The cars are chosen as they are the most popular cars requested in the car wishlist thread. Also bear in mind that one car takes a team 6 months to model, so a car that came out yesterday is obviously going to take longer to appear - if it appears at all. Hows about we be grateful for what we are given, even if it may not be 100% to our liking.
