I’ve just had to switch my Xbox One off, I didn’t even get to play Forza Motorsport 5. I entered two lobbies of Tag (Virus), waited in each for around 15 minutes…you all know how it is, there has been multiple topics over the months stressing the annoyance of the “out of track glitch”. Like the title says, it’s sad, on a day like today aswell, I just wanted to relax for an hour or so, but instead (like always) these super cool glitchers have put an end to that idea.
I’m just fed up at the end of the day, I paid money for this console, this game, the season pass, vip etc, but Turn 10 can’t even be bothered to fix a simple exploit, there’s barriers everywhere in this game, add some more to the corners of the Test Track so that these super cool human beings can’t glitch out of the track.
Why play a “Racing” game if you’re intention is to sit outside the track, it defeats the point really. These people clearly don’t enjoy driving cars and having fun…it’s just sad.
You ask “Why play a Racing game . . .” but you bring up Tag (not racing really, it’s an arcade feature).
"These people clearly don’t enjoy drivings cars and having fun . . . " - so the issue is?
I do agree that it is disappointing that there are glitches that can be exploited (and are being exploited). But that’s what some people do. I race with many and none of them are poor sports.
If you enjoy FM5 and Tag, the best thing to do is find few people with like interests and create your own lobby. If you enter a public lobby, one has to to anticipate poor sports and not take them seriously.
I’ve never played Tag on any other Forza title before, the reason i play it on Forza 5 is due to the fact ‘User created lobbies’ aren’t present. And your second point is right there in what you’ve quoted from my post, what’s the point of sitting outside the map ? You should be driving the cars, not parking outside the map leaving your controller for minutes/hours. And as for creating private lobbies, i shouldn’t have to “find people” to play this game, i don’t feel comfortable chatting on the mic to strangers and that’s what people usually want when setting up private lobbies (people with mics). I was enjoying the no collisions B class racing when it was available, i was rarely first, second or third, but i enjoyed it, all of the other game-modes I’ve had a bad experience and generally stay away from.
The worst part about this i must add is, i’ve not played Forza 5 for a few days, i juggle it between Blur, NFS, Gran Turismo and other racing games, but i come back with the intention of enjoying a few cars i had in mind only to have to switch it off without doing any of what i wanted. It’s like i’m not in control of my own game, the glicthers are, i am looking forward to Horizon 2 as it’s free-roam without lobbies, i just enjoy driving cars and hearing the sounds, experiencing how they feel, rather than a hardcore racer, otherwise this game would be perfect. You could say this game isn’t for me, but Forza 4 was and i didn’t know they’d not added user created lobbies into Forza 5 prior to purchasing it.
Those you spot glitching or wrecking people and ruining normal game play, should be REPORTED by going into VIEW GAMER CARD, then Report or block, followed by Report, then select Unsporting behavior. There is then a box to fill in “CRASHER” - disruptive in races, causes wrecks, etc. Followed by Report to Xbox.
If you have the accurate gamertag, in the Xbox One Dashboard, go to Friends, in the left column use either “Recent Players” or “Find someone” and put the tag in there. The same reporting system as above is in effect, and you can file the report there.
This sends a report directly to the Xbox LIVE Policy Enforcement Team which will investigate, maybe even visit and observe the offender during gaming sessions, and then ban that person from not just a single game but Xbox LIVE itself.

It takes less time to file a proper report to the people who can do something about the glitchers than to post a complaint here on the forums.
I’ve gone one better when people have really p***** me off, I recorded them and sent it to Forzas email, didn’t hear anything back though. So who knows if action was taken against those individuals? I won’t be going to all the trouble again with the Game DVR anyway. I may start blocking them, but it’ll get to a point where I can’t even get a game, because I’ve blocked everyone.
Also posting a complaint here let’s Turn 10 employees see the issue, even though there has been multiple topics about the Tag exploit, people will continue until it gets fixed. The “Racers” that wanted “Race” cars got heard, and are now enjoying their classic race cars (I think).
Instead of recording a video, I’d rather save the replay, share it, and then reference that video in an email. Videos are limited in how much they show, but replays allow us to view different cars and from different angles.
