[It's back]] Can download designs from the sharefront again

I mentioned this as a passing remark on another thread, but did not report it per se yet.

Since about 12 days ago I cannot download designs from the sharefront anymore. When attempting to download a design (mostly when buying a new car), I get a message after about 20 seconds that designs will be added in future. I can now play MP after the recent upgrade, can download tunes, can download from the marketplace, can upload photos, can race rivals, but just no downloading designs or downloading gift cars received from T10.

Is there a limit to the number of designs we may have ? I know it’s a fact with the tunes.

Problem solved. I can now download gift cars and designs again. Big thanks T10 for helping and special thanks to Snowowl for all his efforts and suggestions.

PS. Still most times struggle to get into MP, but can wait for that. Moderators can close this now, thanks.

Whew! Glad you got it fixed.

What was the solution? I am having problems downloading gift card also and would love to know how to fix the problem.

Seriously this Turn 10 forum is pretty useless with help for bugs.

Sorry for not replying mate, been away for few days.

I tried a lot of things and some advice from Snowowl, but it seems there’s no workaround at this stage that players can do to solve this. It was just solved few days back on it’s own after I sort of decided to leave the issue for a while. I thought it was T10 that resolved the matter, but it’s back again and it seems it come and goes at it’s own peril. So for now I just look regularly on it’s status and hold thumbs that T10 can resolve it.

Just one word of advice - don’t try to download a Giftcar from T10 (via your message box) while designs fails to download from your sharefront. It seems that these two appear at the same time. The car will fail to download and the T10 message that prompt the download will be gone too. I mange to get the two Halo Ford’s after T10 re-send them to me, but lost Little Vixen’s Bashcar (GT40) that way twice.

Sorry I could’nt help more. All we can do at this stage is hold thumbs for T10 to resolve soonest. I’ll post again if there’s some progress on this on my side. Please let me know when this change on your side.

Bummer. Definitely sounds like an issue on the server side. Hopefully a tech can get in there and figure out what is going on.

And the designs from the sharefront are back again and loading very fast. Very glad, so holding thumbs it will stay.
