It is enough. Time to make a statement to Turn 10

As we know Turn 10 quality awareness is non existant. Only when we complain things change. So let me raise my voice.
Already since 8 weeks the quality of the servers is poor and specially during the weekend when the number of FH3 gamers is at its peak. Resulting in very slow loading of the game, problems with online gaming and the auction house not being accesible. Turn10 you made the decision to check every step we do in the game with your servers.

So STOP reducing the number the of servers but instead scale up again as the the number of servers is not enough for the traffic in the weekends.

Hi fellow legend. My advise do not place critical threats about Turn10. It’s like the Vatican the choirboys are looking the other way. I’m A ME TOO victem of them look at my topics. Respects to you.

Your topics keep getting locked because you are breaking the rules of the forum by naming and shaming. It has nothing to do with being critical of Turn10. As you’ve been told before, report them via xbox, if they sent you messages report the messages on xbox. I’ve been in the same situation before and after reporting their messages as proof the were eventually banned by xbox. I would suggest you review the rules of the forum so that you understand what can and can’t be posted here.

This isn’t a Turn 10 thing, but a gaming industry thing. From the beginning with Everquest to present day, game companies tend to ratchet down the appeal of a game whether through less and lower quality content, weaker enforcing of server rules (to allow the troll gamers help make the game undesirable) to fewer servers or poor server maintenance. The whole point is to get the players to become disatisfied with the current status quo so that when the next game on the horizon (no pun intended) comes out, they will move on to that in hopes of a better quality game. And it will be better for a time, but after a couple of years, the cycle will begin again. Some of us have been grumping and complaining about this for years and years and years, but the simple truth is that when the next incarnation of the game comes out, many, many fans of the game will rush out to get it. And as long as players keep doing this, the game companies will continue with this practice. It’s simply business in a time where customer density is more profitable than loyalty to customers. But again, this isn’t a fault of Turn 10. It’s not even a fault of the gaming industry. It’s a fault of decades of gamers who have not held companies accountable for gaming quality. How else can we explain so many games that are sold loaded down with bugs that may or may not be patched with updates.

I have not personally noticed what the OP is talking about in regards to Turn 10. I have not been playing long enough and definitely haven’t played the online portions as I have been fighting with my ISP over DSL data lockups. But what the OP describes is a very familiar complaint from players of online games.

It’s entirely likely that its an issue with your internet, i have the same issues from time to time when my connection is running slow. When my connection is good I have no problems, even on the weekends.

You also have no idea what they are doing with the servers. None of us do. Pure speculation

The ONLY time i ever have issues with the servers is when xbox live is playing up
Which can be checked here Xbox Support
Actually there is issues right as i post too

Like on Saturday when there was a delay in achievements popping
Very rarely have an issue with auction house…usually its because someone else has bid or bought out just before i bid which is unavoidable

hmm I agree with the non aware part, they have carbon copied the same game all the way from FM3 I mean just look at the tuning and upgrade system. They only care for graphics really and I’ve noticed community recommends for cars or content updates are ignored and the times they do add a car someone wanted, it’s just a coincidence. Turn 10 has gotten lazy and it shows…

Ah yes the “lazy” Turn 10…and by that you mean, Playground Games. (You do know that Playground games develops the Horizon series, correct?) The same “lazy” Playground games who used a 12K resolution camera in Australia, to accurately capture the sky for Horizon 3. I didn’t know “lazy” companies, were in the habit of using 12K camera rigs, so they can properly capture the sky/weather system for their game…at a cost of 100,000 Pounds, or 137,000 USD. Their team spent a summer camping out in Australia’s Outback, and captured hundreds of thousands of images, in all sorts of weather and lighting conditions. This is something that at the time, was an industry first, and likely still is. That’s the lengths they went to just for the weather system, not to mention what they had to go through, in order to build a realistic looking, and authentic feeling, Australian environment. Then, you have all the exterior parts, widebody kits, wheels, two beautiful expansions, and the start of a six year partnership with Porsche.

As for your complaint about cars, do you just expect them to add every car that is mentioned in the wishlist thread, or every car that was in past Horizon games? That just isn’t possible at all… As far as I can understand, obtaining the licenses from the various manufacturers, isn’t exactly a straight forward or easy process. A great deal of time, money, and legal negotiations all play a part in this. Just because a particular car is mentioned by the community, and mentioned multiple times, doesn’t mean it’ll make it to the game, and can be said for both old and new to franchise cars. The lack of VW’s in FH3 is a great example. I think the community as a whole was disappointed not to have VW in the game, and I’m sure PG did whatever they could in order to convince VW to put their cars in this game, despite the “Dieselgate” scandal going on. Then you have the absence of Toyota in FM7, which was a result of failed licensing negotiations between Turn 10 (Helpful tip, they developed the Motorsport series) and Toyota. Just as PG likely tried desperately to secure VW for FH3, Turn 10 did the same with Toyota. Licensing is an incredibly costly, and complicated issue, which doesn’t appear to be understood by the community still, as proven by your post.

We may never really know the exact reasoning behind a particular manufacturer’s not wanting to include X, Y or Z car, but this isn’t something you can solve by complaining. I for one, am grateful, of the wide variety of cars and content we have in FH3.

whats your internet speeds again? Seems more like your internet isn’t that good. I’m running 200Mbps Download, 15Mbps Upload and I’m completely fine, if you use wireless stop and get an ethernet cord

OP, if you had half a brain, you’d know that nonsensical threads like the one you’ve made, get shut down quickly by the moderators…so why even bother making it? As far as I can tell, complaining and conjecture, which perfectly describes your thread, hasn’t produced any results for the Horizon community. But feedback and constructive criticism, as seen in the forum wishlist threads, do indeed produce positive results and outcomes… So, take that into account before spouting baseless complaints on the forum.

With that out of the way, who wants to take a guess on how quickly this thread will get shut down? Frankly, I’m surprised it’s lasted this long. It brings me great joy whenever childish threads like this get taken down, but at the same time, they provide me just as much humor, from how ridiculous they are.

Hey speedy all of what you said proved my statement, I could care less about graphics because I have bad eyes, but that is ALL they care for. Of course they will do all that work for graphics but still leave the upgrade system completely untouched for example. 200k is not a lot btw when you consider thier employees can afford Ford GT’s and P1’s just saying.

The upgrade system was hugely updated for Horizon 3. Their employees income isn’t even close to being relevant to the budget amount for the game. You literally have no idea what you’re talking about, shut up.

Was it? It’s the same things as every other Forza game going back to at least FM3, apart from the addition of widebody conversions and the basket system.

you are new to the series, I can tell…

I understand that but you can’t ignore the upgrade system. EVERY forza since FM3’s tuning has been the EXACT same screens and how they work, in the FM series the upgrades gave the exact same power and weight and even in FH3 the centrifugal supercharger exploit still exist AND the rear tires on FWD and sometimes AWD still incorrectly decrease PI with wider tires

Yeah, it was. Since I’m on right now I’ll list you the changes.
•we have a “cart” for prices since it wasn’t there before
•you can increase the rim size on standard rims
•body kits were huge since they weren’t offered before

It’s cute that you have to say “apart from this and this” because you know you’re wrong. I seriously can’t understand how you negate those things as they were huge additions. Now instead of having to wait 3 seconds for the game to save the one upgrade it can all be processed at once. Again, huge update.

On top of that, yeah, we have street, sport, and race parts still. We also have an in-depth tuning page where you can do pressure settings, gear length, alignment, etc etc. What else could there be? Do you want manufacture specific parts or something? Nothing ever pleases you does it?
