Issue with multi class race setups

BUG INFO:
If I create a multiclass race, say using Proto H, Forza GT, Touring and I create an advanced event setup where the classes are in the same order; if I do not select a car within the first car class (Proto H) then I’m unable to race since my car doesn’t meet the race restrictions.

I can get around this by just recreating the race with the division I will use as the first car group, but placing the faster division behind the slower one wouldn’t make sense.

Hi @MonsterGroup , after you confirm your settings and jump into the pre race menu, you will get this error. Just ignore it and continue, then go to the “event”. there must be a board showing all of the drivers. Select yourself and the click “change car group” then you’ll be ready to race!

Thanks for the tip, its a nice work around but there is another issue if I change car groups, it makes that group larger than the other two. I could always make the group I need to be in smaller by one. I would still consider this worth reporting.

Hi @MonsterGroup ,when your setting up a race, there’s an option to limit the maximum cars allowed to race in a specific class. Use it.

Okay, just for anyone else that runs across this issue; in addition to Pooya’s advice of swapping into another car group from the driver list at the pre race menu, make sure to set the max number of drivers in car group 1 to be one larger than the max for the other 2 car groups (assuming you want matched group sizes). This is adjustable during the pre race menu event setup.
