issue with horizon and wheels?

Is there an issue with wheels vs controllers or am I doing something wrong?
A tactic I like to use when I rally with my controller is I slam on the breaks and turn hard in order to initiate a slide. On my controller it works perfectly, but on the wheel when I slam the breaks and turn hard I just go straight. Is this an issue with the game or am I doing something wrong? I made a quick video to show what i’m on about

first segment is with the wheel, second segment is with the controller. Both segments I let go of the gas, slam on the breaks, and turn as hard as possible.

:edit: definitely an issue with horizon. If I have my controller plugged in, and I try to break hard and turn hard with my keyboard, I slide. However if I have my wheel plugged in, and I try to break hard and turn hard with my keyboard, I understeer.

Nope, not an issue with Horizon. It is all the “assists” that are present when using the controller. As in it will not turn the wheels past maximum grip angle, hence you turn. Whereas with the wheel the fronts will turn past the grip angle hence you slide. These “assists” are present in all Forza games, and there are a few more of them.

Do it again but only use really small inputs on your wheel, you’ll get the same results, you can see on you wheel attempt to ‘drift’ as the car slowed it suddenly turns sharper, indicating you hard exceeded front grip and we’re understeering
