I was listening to the ForzaVista on the new Ferrari F1-90 DLC from yesterday and I’ve found a problem with the commentary, small but noteworthy.
The narrator says and spells Ayrton Senna’s name as “Aryton”. Which obviously is incorrect. How the hell can you butcher someone’s name. It should be there in front of you. A legend like Senna deserves more in my opinion.
That is a pretty big mistake to make if true. Especially for a game “seeped in car culture”.
I could be worse. Allan McNish won Le Mans three times, but his name is misspelled twice on their Walk of Fame.
This is the downside to fixed ship dates. Things like this aren’t considered important to a bunch of suits, while to us it’s one of the more important things. Who releases a race game with race drivers name spelled wrong? lol
It’s not like they need to check every year, the spelling doesn’t change, once they’ve got it right that should be it surely? lol
Oh dear…these are actually BIG mistakes…
they should fact check it on every car. in fact, the forza vista for the ferrai is the same as the mclaren’s mp4/4’s forzavista.
Well Forzavista is not really what it shlould be. We should be able to check out every car in it’s details…but we can’t. A lot of cars can’t open anything but the doors. Mostly old scans I guess. Then there is the audio, that I thought should tell about the car’s story, but on most occasions it just tells basic things about the brand, not the car.
It really is kind of useless…again.
