Is your Xbox One Controller connected through USB not working? Here is a solution to try!

How are people getting your xbox one controllers to work with this game? My xbox one controller works with every other game that I have, with the only exception on FM:Apex, is there a known problem with getting your controllers to work? or is there a potential issue with certain builds of Windows 10?

EDIT: - Possible solution for other users:

Uninstall the xbox one controller driver software from Programs and Features, restart windows, plug your xbox controller in and let windows install the xbox one controller driver automatically on its own, when i did this and launched FM:Apex i discovered that the controller now works!

EDIT 2: - Just a clarification

I did not download or reinstall the xbox software drivers that you could get from the xbox support website, nor did I update any type of firmware, I simply used the “base driver” provided by windows.

Make sure its installed and everything BEFORE you open up the game.

I use the Xbox One Elite controller with the wireless dongle. I have yet to try the 360 controller, will have to dig it out first.

The controllwe has worked flawlessly since i 1st launched the game
